Almond Bark Drop Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2009
I've been on a total peanut butter kick lately and these really hit the spot. I didn't have pecans so I threw in some pretzels that I had crunched up. I think the little bit of salt on the pretzels REALLY made it yummy. TRY THESE!

Award Winning Chili Con Carne

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2009
I made this chili to take to a wake. (unfortunately) The family loved it! Within 10 minutes my 2qt. crock pot was EMPTY. I forgot the Tabasco at the end and that would have made it perfect.

Vanilla Ice Cream

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2008
The flavor of this ice cream was really delicate and sweet. However, I had some problems with the consistency. Yes it's very smooth and creamy but it left a film in my mouth that was a turn-off.

Easiest Oven Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2009
I made this as written only to add black pepper, onion powder and paprika to the cracker crumbs. My entire family loved this chicken. I'm only giving it 4 stars because most of the butter was wasted. One stick would have been plenty.

I made this recipe exactly as written and I urge you to do so as well, as it is PERFECT. My husband and I are still talking about it over a week later. Thank you Robbie!

Ground Beef and Sausage in Red Beans and Rice

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2009
The rice amount seems WAY off to me. But besides that I really did not like this. All I could taste was beans and it was really bland. This makes a HUGE amount of food that I feel was completely wasted. So disappointed.

My daughter and I made these together and it was a fun recipe to cook together. We ate and ate and ate. I think we ate them for lunch. YUM.

Easy Baked Chicken Wings

Reviewed: May 24, 2009
These are REALLY labor intensive and the ingredients seemed odd to me but I went with my gut and gave them a try. YUMMO. I didn't have the msg but they didn't need it.

Sue's Taco Salad

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2008
My family has been eating a different version of this dish for years. I'm happy to replace that old recipe with this new one. My kids loved the ranch in this. (of course)

Taco Soup III

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2008
This is a standby favorite at our house. Like many others I substituted frozen corn for the hominy. I also add 2 cups of chicken broth at the end and simmer on high until the sauce is reduced. Very rich flavors for such an easy soup.

Garlic Butter

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2012
I've made this garlic butter many times and I will never go back to store bought garlic bread again. I love to use Texas Toast style bread but plain ole white bread is delicious too. Make sure and really slather it on all the way to the edge of the crust. YUM.

Donut Muffins

Delicious! Make sure that your muffin pan is completely clean if you're baking more than one batch, otherwise they fall apart. I'll be making these OFTEN. Christmas morning for sure.

Sage Pork Chops

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2008
Update: I made these yummo chops again tonight and I substituted a little bit. The first time I made them strictly by the recipe but I didn't have sage this time. I used some season salt, onion powder, garlic powder and S&P. Same cooking method and we were not disappointed. (last review)O.M.G. I made these EXACTLY as written. The best pork chops that I've ever had. I'm not a huge pork fan but I've been forced to find new recipes because my husband bought about 40 lbs of pork. I will make these over and over again.

Easy Peach Cobbler

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2008
I didn't care for the cream cheese in this. *New comment* I hate giving bad reviews on obviously popular recipes so I went back and baked this again using the other members tips. I used my food processor to crumble together the cake mix and cream cheese and pouring the butter (melted) over the top. I still found this too gummy for my taste. If you like a crispy crusted cobbler this is NOT for you. IMO this is a dump cake, not a cobbler.

My granny used to make no-bake cookies for me and these are exactly what I was looking for me. I did have to add 1/2 cup extra oatmeal.
