Awesome Broccoli-Cheese Casserole

really really good. I added a sleeve of crushed ritz crackers mixed with 1/2 cup metled butter to the top. Baked uncovered for an hour...got tons of rave reviews at the Christmas table.

One-Dish Beef Stroganoff and Noodles

really great and easy. i used lite sour cream and dried parsely (right into the liquid mixture) and also added pepper to taste. my toddler loved it which is the MOST important. and of course left overs are always better too!!

Slow Cooker Veggie-Beef Soup with Okra

soup was fantastic. i left out the potatoes and poured the soup over prepared egg noodles instead. added a bit of red peppar flakes to ground turkey, and poured the juices and all into the soup! Yummy! Used a frozen fiesta blend that included garbanzo and kitney beans, and also used a lot more frozen okra than called for. Really turned out great!

Green Bean Casserole I

Very tastey. I too used sour cream instead of milk. Also added onion powder. used frozen beans so it took a bit londer to bake, but they were very firm, not soggy at all. did not bake with onion mixed in, only on the top at the end, then mixed them all in to serve. GREAT!

Cousin David's Slow Cooker Brisket

not sure what happened - but this was not good. I cooked it as directed, but it seemed burned or something. the sauce was good, but i couldn't get that slighlty burned flavor our of my pallet.

Creamy Pesto Shrimp

Good and fairly quick. the worst part was stirring the cream sauce consistantly. I used frozen/thawed, pre-cooked shrimp and it was still great. I also used half and half instead of heavy cream. As the sauce cooled it has an interesting consistancy, but i contribute that to the butter and cheese separation. Still yummy! My husband said, "I'm in, it's great"

Bowties and Broccoli

this was quick and good. Not too much variation at all either - I blanched the brocolli and then sauteed it quickly with the garlic and oil. I also used Kosher Salt instead of regular salt. My daughter ate every bite...so it was have been good.

Chicken Flautas

Excellent recipe. Even my picky daughter ate them. we stuffed with more than a tablespoon of chickes so we only yielded about 18, but I thinkg they were better more filled - less like a taquito. Brought left overs for today!

Cornbread and Sausage Stuffing

i made this just as called for (but scaled up) and it was horrible. i was so embarrased on Thanksgiving. MUCH to salty, which i attribute to the garlic powder. i have never found a bad recipe on this site, so this was a huge let down for me.

Poblano Chicken Enchilada Casserole

Totally disapointing. With all those peppers I was expecting more of a punch with the chicken, but it was quite bland. The sauce was not that flavorful either. I am not a star chef so I am not sure what it needs, but it sure needs a pick me up. Mu husband said it wasn't that bad, but then proceeded to cover his plate in Tapatio. We will finish the leftovers, but I'll probably never see this one on my table again.
