Chocolate Cream Pie I

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2008
The taste was pretty good but it was very runny. I followed this recipe exactly and have no idea where I went wrong. I even made it two days before I was serving it and it never set. Oh well.

Butter Flaky Pie Crust

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2008
Great recipe, there were a lot of good tips from other members. I'm fairly new with 'from scratch' crust, I'll need to work with it a little more, I don't think I roll it out enough because it seemed thick last time I made it.

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2008
This is the only apple pie I make now. If I could give it 10 stars I would. I've made it several times with the 'Buttery Flaky Pie Crust' recipe on this site, good combo.

My whole family loved this, I followed it exactly and it came out great! Be careful not to overcook, which is very easy with this type of fish.

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2007
This was delicious!!! Four hours into cooking I shredded the meat and threw it back in for about 1 1/2-2 hrs. I took it camping (in the crock),brought a bag of finger rolls and heated it up over a fire. It smelled great. I made it a seperate time with pork chops the same way and that too was incredible.

Macaroni Salad II

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2007
I thought the recipe looked interesting and it was. It was really good, a nice change. It was almost a dessert though. A couple people asked me for the recipe so I guess it was a hit.

Tangy Slow Cooker Pork Roast

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2007
We all loved it, and I have to agree with another reviewer..don't overcook pork, it dries out. I added Worcestershire sauce but other than that I followed it exactly. I'll make again.

White Cheese Chicken Lasagna

Reviewed: May 7, 2007
Wow, that was time consuming! It was excellent but it was a lot of steps and dirtied a lot of dishes. Next time I'll try to figure out a way to cut a few corners. Very good though.

This was just ok. It was a lot of work for what it is. They were tasty enough though.

This was pretty good, it is what it is. You can really throw anything in here. I threw in some hamburg and used whole wheat pasta, my kids loved it.

Chili II

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2007
I loved this recipe, so easy. It wasn't quite hot enough for my husband (although it was plenty spicy for me). Next time I'll spice it up more with another can of HOT green chile peppers or some red pepper flakes, or even some cayenne pepper... I'll keep this one!

I thought these were delicious! Next time I would add more clams because I didn't get much of that flavor but good regardless.

Sweet Potato Cranberry Bake

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2006
This side dish was excellent. I added rolled oats to the topping ingredients. I made it for Thanksgiving dinner, guests said it was more like a dessert than a dish. Great change.

Cherry Oatmeal Cookies

I thought these were pretty good. I added more cherries and some mini chocolate chips because they were a little bland at first. I'd make them again.

I thought the pie was very easy to make and tasty. I'm a big fan of warm apple pie and you really couldn't heat this one, but still good. I'd probably make again.
