About this Cook
I am a 22-year old student living in Montreal, and while I have been cooking and baking basic dishes since I was ten, I recently found a passion for cooking, especially after moving out on my own and starting to cook for myself and friends. I even have a newspaper column where I get to write weekly recipes, featured in my university's school publication.
My favorite things to cook
I love taking recipes and adapting them to make them healthier. I love fish and simple vegetable dishes and preparations that serve to emphasis the flavour and freshness of the ingredients.
My cooking triumphs
I love to try new things so I get a big thrill from experimenting and getting delicious results :)
My cooking tragedies
Thankfully, there haven't been too many, however there was a rather unfortunate incident involving an utterly unsalvageable roasted yellow pepper soup...

Shish Tawook Marinated Chicken
Loved this. Really tender, juicy chicken. I didn't use as much allspice as the recipe called for.

Seminary Muffins
These were gone before I could even get a picture of them.. I left out the chocolate chips and walnuts and used half whole wheat, half white flour. They were delicious- the oats provided a great texture and the flavour was awesome. I will definitely be making these again.

Low-Fat Blueberry Bran Muffins
I love bran muffins, and for a low-fat recipe, these are great. The only thing I changed was to use all whole wheat flour. I will definitely make these again.
