Tim Perry's Soup (Creamy Curry Cauliflower and Broccoli Soup)

This soup didn't seem to have enough flavor. I ended up adding 2 cloves of garlic to this recipe, and about 1 tsp additional curry powder (2 tsp total). The texture was thick enough that I didn't add the flour mixture to the soup. I'd say this recipe was just OK. I'm not sure if I'll make this again.

Awesome Sausage, Apple and Cranberry Stuffing

This stuffing is wonderful! I used reduced fat pork sausage (couldn't find turkey sausage). I also added about a cup of chicken broth, since I cooked it outside the turkey. Also, I kept checking it while it cooked (approx 1/2 hour), and added more broth as needed. Growing up, we always used the dried stuffing cubes. Well, my family loved this! The texture was perfect. I will definitely make this one again. So easy!

Hummus-Stuffed Portobello Caps

We liked this recipe. The lemon pepper and red pepper hummus gave the mushrooms a mild spice. It was a little messy to eat, but it tasted good. I'll make this again.

This was a great recipe. I did add a little more garlic, a little less oil, and added chopped parsley to the mixture. I will make this again ~

Dill Pickle Soup

I was surprised by this soup. I expected it to taste a lot like pickles, but the other seasonings really melded well. I might try to decrease the salt next time, though.

Twenty-Four Hour Salad

I have a similar recipe where you melt the marshmallows as you cook the egg mixture. It helps to thicken it up.

Restaurant-Style Coleslaw I

I was excited to try this recipe, and I liked the first bites, but in the end, I didn't really care for the coleslaw. It was too watery, and the taste wasn't right for me. I think it had too much sugar for my taste, but even then, soemthing wasn't quite right.

Persian Sabzi Polo (Herb Rice with Fava Beans)

I made this recipe with brown rice instead of white (personal preference). It tasted great! I think I might try it next time with fresh herbs added at the end (instead of during the cooking process).

White Peach Sangria

I modified this recipe a little, based on other reviews. For example, peach schnapps instead of vodka, frozen peaches instead of fresh, and no grapes at all. It was really delicious. I am thinking this would be perfect in the summertime. Thanks for this recipe!

Roasted Garlic Cauliflower

My first attempt at this recipe tasted great, but the garlic and cauliflower were a little too burned for my taste. So, I reduced the temp to 400, started roasting the cauliflower with a little olive oil for 15 minutes, then added the garlic and more oil for an additional 15 minutes (covered in foil). It turned out perfect. Also, I omitted the cheese and parsley.
