Iced Pumpkin Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2012
This is the softest cookie I have ever eaten/made! Soo delicious and simple. I drizzled cream cheese on top instead and added coconut flakes and it still tasted great! I brought them to a party and they were devoured!

White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2012
Awesome cheesecake! I over baked it a bit, but it still came out great! Made some changes - used the 2 cups oreos, 1/4 cup butter and 1T sugar. Don't think it really needed the sugar though. I microwaved some black raspberry seedless preserves instead of boiling fresh or frozen berries. I melted the white chocolate in the microwave with the half and half. A couple people said it was the best cheesecake they ever had! Will make again in the future.

Mom's Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2012
I wasn't really impressed. The consistency is fine. The taste is a little funky. It only tastes good because of the chocolate chips. I even tried using the cheesecake pudding mix and I thought it just came out OK. Nestle still has a special place in my stomach,

Banana Cream Cheese Pie

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2012
Delicious! the only thing I didn't really care for was the strawberry topping.. it was okay, but i had to add more sugar and water. I also made a couple modifications. I used strawberry cream cheese and added strawberries to the pie as well as putting the strawberries on top. I like strawberries. Came out great!

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Feb. 29, 2012
I liked this cookie, but I definitely wouldn't say it's the best. I am still looking for the best. These don't stay moist and chewy in the middle like I would like. They flattened out a bit even though I had them in the fridge for over 24 hours. I think there is too much vanilla extract in this recipe too. Good... just not great.

Chocolate Mint Cookies I

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2012
delicious! Made it exactly like the directions said and came out great! (although I think I would like slightly less flour) I thought the batter was going to be too wet and sticky but after cooling it in the fridge, it was very easy to roll into balls. Tasted a lot better after it cooled!

Vanilla Glaze

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2012
Definitely needed more milk... but other than that this is a good recipe. You can play around with the ingredients to make it more or less sweet and thick or thin. I also added cinnamon to mine and it tasted great!

Cake Balls

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2011
Very simple. Very tasty. Just make sure you have enough frosting for that cake so there aren't a lot of cake crumbs. Use too much frosting and it will be too sticky and a bit too sweet.

Homemade Black Bean Veggie Burgers

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2011
These tasted okay, but I think it might have been a bit too spicy for me. I also had the same problem as some others where it came out too soggy, even though I added a ton more breadcrumbs. I did not dry or drain the vegetables like some suggested though so that might be the cause of excess water. If you don't drain all the water, this recipe makes a much better burrito filling.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2011
These cookies came out so tasty! I received a lot of compliments! My only complaint was that the dough was so sticky it made it impossible to use any cookie cutouts no matter how much flour or powdered sugar I put down or added. I just ended up rolling them into balls and flattening them out so they were just plain circles. They tasted great by themselves but looked really sad without anything on top, so I covered them with a light frosting and sprinkles. Thanks!

Holiday Peppermint Bark

Came out great! I also added a layer of dark chocolate to the bottom. I melted the dark chocolate, let it cool in the fridge, then put the white chocolate mixed with the candies on top. Yum! Easy and delicious!

Classic Cinnamon Rolls

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2011
I don't know if I did something wrong but I wasn't blown away by these. They were decent though. I added more cinnamon sugar and I still thought they were lacking something. The dough was also a lot stickier than I thought it would be like a lot of others posted. It was my first time making cinnamon rolls though and I think they came out pretty good considering.

Chocolate-Hazelnut Spread Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2011
These were definitely lacking something. I tried adding some peanut butter but it still seemed to be missing something. I love Nutella but it doesn't seem to make great cookies. I guess it should just stay as a spread. These weren't bad, and they cooked fine. Mine didn't spread out like other people have said. I just made them so I don't know how they hold up after a few days.

Easy OREO Truffles

Reviewed: May 30, 2011
I made two different batches of these. One was just the regular cream cheese and Oreos. The other was a cream cheese, Oreos, and peanut butter mix, with a peanut butter and chocolate coating. MMMmm they both came out amazing! VERY sweet though. After mixing the cream cheese and Oreos together I threw the bowl in the freezer for a little while to harden a bit first. It makes it A LOT easier to dip in the chocolate when they are more firm. I melted the chocolate in the microwave.. you might want to let that cool off a little bit first before dipping them too. I don't think you really need to crush 9 whole cookies to sprinkle on top.. maybe just 5? All in all these were delicious!

Honey-Topped Sweet Potato

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2011
Mashed 4 small sweet potatoes and doubled the recipe, mixed it in with the mashed potatoes and it was sooo good! Could have tripled the recipe but I think the sweet potato is sweet enough and didn't need it.

Strawberry Angel Food Dessert

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2011
Didn't follow the recipe exactly, but it still came out great!! For the glaze, I used strawberry pie filling, watered it down a bit and added some sugar. And I used the shortcake cups instead of angel food. I think the angel food would have been better, but I still loved this recipe. The whipped/cream cheese topping is not too sweet and compliments the strawberries. Mmmm! Will definitely make this again!

Peanut Butter Bars I

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2011
Used chocolate graham crackers and a little bit of crushed oreos because that's what I already had but they came out amazing! My only suggestions are, you shouldn't need more than 3/4 cup of butter... maybe even a little less. And using a 9x13 they would come out really thin so I would make more of the graham cracker mixture or use a smaller dish. Otherwise this is a great recipe I will definitely use again!
