My favorite family cooking traditions
Mom's an immigrant from Albania; dad's American and from Connecticut. Thanksgiving has always been an amazing blend of traditional and eastern european. It always makes me smile to see stuffed grape leaves next to the cranberry sauce.
My cooking triumphs
Making dessert for twenty-five people at the staff Christmas luncheon. Apple pie, NY cheesecake, and irish cream creme brulee. So damn good.
