Crispy and Creamy Doughnuts

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2012
This is a great recipe! I made it vegan with soy milk, earth balance, and egg replacer and it was fabulous!!!! - but vegan resipes are always more moist anyway, so I'm not 100% sure on the original, as intended recipe.

Buttery Soft Pretzels

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2011
I don't how "pretzel-like" these are, but the recipe makes an absolutely wonderful dough. I plan to use the dough again to make stuffed pockets, pizza, etc. It is a very workable, tasty dough. Thanks.

Stuffed Peppers My Way

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2011
This is a great recipe! I've done it with both bell peppers and hot peppers. I am a vegetarian and I have shocked people who aren't...they can't believe food is actually better without meat!

Honey Mustard Tofu

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2011
The tofu was great, but the sauce tasted like french's mustard. I will make again but will add tons of veggies and drastically alter the sauce (maybe even just by using a dijon)?

Mostaccioli with Spinach and Feta

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2010
OMG! Thought this would just be an easy quick dish, but it quickly became my favorite meal! I add a lot of garlic and a splash of lemon.

Impossibly Easy Cheeseburger Pie

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2009
This isn't exactly gourmet food...but it's an easy, quick dinner when you have a family. I add a can of condensed cheddar cheese soup to the meat and also some chopped dill pickles. I've also added chopped tomatoes and bacon on occasion.

Four Cheese Macaroni

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2008
This recipe is the best! I add more of all the cheeses and omit the egg (my daughter is allergic to eggs)..but it is fabulous without!

mmmm....excellent and easy to make. Gets better when you reheat it as a leftover.

Hot Artichoke and Spinach Dip II

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2008
This is EXCELLENT...I did change it up a bit...I added pesto instead of basil (because that's all I had) and used sour cream instead of mayonaise (because my daughter is allergic to eggs).

Chicken Enchiladas II

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2008
It is great, but I do modify it. I use condensed cheese soup instead of the mushroom, probably do about 1 and 1/2 the cheese, and sometimes throw in some jalepenos...then it's my husband's favorite recipe.

Praline Sweet Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2006
I've made this for over a decade, and just found the same recipe online...how funny...it is my all time favorite. You absolutely can't do better than this. And for all of those complaining about calories...this is a down home southern recipe...of course its high in fat and calories!

Basic Ham and Bean Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2006
Quite tasty. I made it in a slow cooker (all day) and pre-soaked the beans. I added tons of onion and garlic and a bit of corn starch to thicken. I made it with some jiffy cornbread (in an iron skillet of course) and it was a great combo.

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

Excellent! I used beef stock instead and added tons of onion and garlic. I also melted cheese on the fench bread. Will make many times again!
