I remember the day about nine years ago that I first searched for a recipe on the web. I came across a small but official looking recipe website. The web was so young then that you never knew what was an actual website and what wasn't. From that day on, I used allrecipes.com as a resource. I've enjoyed watching it grow and become more robust!

I've used it ever since and it has become an indespinsable resource!

Wow, 9 years ago?!? That's awesome! It is great meeting others you have been around that long! I have been part of AllRecipes for 4 years and I have been very active the entire time, although it took me a few months to discover the recipe exchange/buzz.

I wasn't able to figure out how to email you haha! I was curious how you pipe your frosting. I was recently looking through the photos of the Zuccotto cupcakes and found yours. It is beautiful! My ganache got thick, but I'm not sure it was thick enough to pipe like that. Any suggestions?

About Me
I love to take simple recipes and give them an unexpected twist! I share my cooking experiments with my husband (and sometimes our two cats will sneak a bite)! We live in Dallas, TX and love to travel.
My favorite things to cook
I enjoy baking, especially cupcakes. My current favorite things to make are punches, flavored popcorn and sheetcakes!
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mom's Thanksgiving stuffing. I enjoy making new traditions!
My cooking triumphs
Pool party food for 100 people!
My cooking tragedies
I baked a carrot cake for Easter 2010. The cream cheese frosting was too soft and the temperature outside was too warm, so the layers played slip and slide in my cake taker! It was edible, just not pretty!
