Cream Cheese Frosting II

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2003
This is an excellent, reliable recipe for a delicious cream cheese frosting. It goes well, of course, on the spicy types of cakes, but it also sets off Red Velvet cake very well, and actually any kind of chocolate cake! I use this recipe regularly in place of a vanilla frosting. You will not be disappointed with this one!

This cookie is a winner! Go all the way, use the rum, and spread cheer to any lucky person who selects this cookie from your cookie tray. This is a HUGE hit at our Christmas party!

Apricot Cream Cheese Thumbprints

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2002
These cookies are beautiful and tasty. I made them for our Christmas party last year and they were a huge hit! I used different fillings, and they were all good. I also rolled some in finely chopped nuts for variation. Make these cookies for your Christmas Cookie Tray--you won't be disappointed.

Moist Yellow Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2002
This cake is ok. It is a recipe that works well if you're going to frost the cake with exquisite frosting. I found this cake to be almost indistinguishable from a cake mix, in both texture and taste. And knowing what I know now, I would opt for a cake mix over this recipe.

Chocolate Cheese Frosting

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2002
If you are looking for a chocolate frosting recipe, look no further! This frosting beats the store bought tub frostings on both taste and consistency, and it's so easy, it's just as convenient as buying frosting off the shelf. If you make this recipe, you won't be disappointed.

Gingerbread Boys And Girls

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2001
I made this recipe (but used 2 teaspoons of ginger instead of 1) and made gingerbread boys and girls with my 3 year old niece! The recipe is delicious and the bakes into beautiful, spicy cookies. I will add these to my annual Christmas baking list from now on!
