I tweaked it a little and everyone said it tasted just like a restaurant's!!! I personally hate cheese, and the sauce was good on just noodles. Here's how I changed it and it was perfect:
I didn't add the Tbsp salt to the sauce. I made the sauce a day before and let it refidgerate overnight to let the flavors blend. I added a little bit of red pepper to the sauce and a little nutmeg to the ricotta. I also used fresh basil instead of dried. I made this in a 15X10 pan instead of a 9X13 with just a few more noodles/cheese, which made this not too saucy like others said it was. Great recipe, thanks!!!
