Rachel's Crockpot Seafood Cheese Dip

Bacon Roasted Chicken

We love this, but more butter is better. Also stuffed bird with onions, celery, and carrots and scattered some around the bird. Also tried it with both beef and chicken broth and the beef broth method is actually better!

Linda's Lasagna

I am not sure about the cottage cheese layer, but the sauce is to die for! All in all delicious lasagna. I didn't use boil noodles, but oven ready wheat pasta. I also subbed ground turkey which was really good.

Bread Pudding with Whiskey Sauce III

Wow! This is really good. I a made it as is. I agree with other reviewers that it is too much sauce. I also had to bake it longer. (not sure how much longer, I just kept checking it) I made it for guests and my aunt kept raving about it! I think it is superior to any bread pudding I have ever had at a restaurant. This will be used again!

Chicken Salad

this is really good. I left out the Ginger,parsely, and used red grapes plus added some slivered almonds. Loved it! The bacon is a nice touch.

Best of the Best Blueberry Muffins

these muffins are REALLY good! I did some substitutions just because as I started making them I realized I was out of some things. I used frozen blueberries-coated them in flour, but didn't crush any-I was too lazy! I also only had one egg, so I added some applesauce. Otherwise I made as is. They were fabulous! BTW-my batter was not too thin and they rose up beautifully. The sprinke of sugar on top of the muffin does really make a huge difference. The only problem is-I am on a diet and this is not diet food and it is IMPOSSIBLE to eat just one!

Playgroup Granola Bars

These are really good. I did add 1/2 cup peanut butter. Next time I will omit the cinnamon as I am not a fan. I also added pumkin seeds. I thought the cooking time was excessive. They tasted better the next day.

We really liked these. I made as is. My husband would like me to use all white flour. I would like to embrace the little bit of healthiness they have! I am going to serve chicken salad on them. Yumm.

Yummy Bok Choy Salad

I have made this as is and it is super good. I have also used the same dressing recipe and added everything but the kitchen sink! Today I used whole wheat penny pasta, sauteed chicken, and sauteed leeks, carrots, celery, green pepper, and baby bok choy. tossed together and served at room temp for lunch. cold for dinner. topped with the slivered almonds. delicious. Love this so much. There is so much that can be done with this base!

The Best Banana Bread

this is the same recipe my mom uses except she uses 1/2 cup milk in hers and another 1/2 cup sugar. It is wonderful. Perhaps the milk makes the bread even more moist???!!! I did see where one person thought it was too dry. Oh well got to stick with my mom!

Gramma's Apple Bread Pudding

This was really good! I have to say I did not follow the recipe as written-although I do not disagree with it! I made Apple Strudel Muffins from a recipe from this site, but subbed applesauce for the butter and they came out dry. Instead of throwing them away, I made this bread pudding. I made as is, only there were apples already in the muffins and there was already a lot of cinnomon, so I didn't add anymore. This recipe saved the muffins and I think I will make it with this two step process again! Thanks for the save!

Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

I think I may have went too far in using all whole wheat flour,but the muffins still came out quite decadent. will make again using white flour, but still subbing the butter and sugar for applesauce and splenda.

Mocha Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

I can not really rate this recipe as I subbed so much to try to go healthy. I used 1 cup applesauce instead of butter, splenda instead of sugar, and my bananas were probably not ripe enough. I also didn't have any instant coffee, so I used regular strong brewed coffee (1/8cup). They are baking right now...we'll see what happens. Everything is an experiment now that we are trying to be healthy. I gave it 5 stars though because the idea of mocha with the banana and chocolate is divine! Great idea.
