Chicken Salad Sandwiches

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2007
Very yummy. I made as is, but added a secret ingredient. A couple tablespoons of honey bbq sauce. I discovered this when using left over bbq chicken which left a hint of bbq sauce in the salad. It makes a great recipe even better. I challenge you to include some bbq sauce! (I used Jack Daniels honey bbq sauace)

Potluck Chicken Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2007
I liked this recipe. I avoid recipes that have cream of whatever soups in them. It grosses me out making it. I would have given it 5 stars if my husband loved it, but he said he liked it but ased that I not make it again. Oh well! i thought it was good.

Cheddar Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2007
We made these for Thanksgiving and when I asked my husband if he liked them he said "I hope you never make mashed potatoes any other way". I should have added more salt and pepper, and I added more bacon than recipe called, but other than that I followed it to the letter.

Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2007
My husband said over and over what a good recipe this is. Thank you! I did add mushrooms and chicken and I didn't have any milk in the house so I used half and half. I also added old bay's seasoning (yum, my fav seasoning)because I didn't have any garlic powder. It was really good! My 14 month old baby loved it too.

Pork Chops with Garden Rice

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2007
We loved this so much. The only thing that I changed was I used tomatoes with chiles to give it a little kick. My husband said it was just enough spice. I used bone in pork chops. I also used red pepper instead of green by mistake. It still turned out delicious. My 10 month old ate a lot of the rice. Thanks for a healthy delicious recipe.

Fruit-Topped Buttermilk Pancakes

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2007
The pancake recipe is great. My family said these were the best pancakes they ever had. They did not love the fruit topping. I liked it though! I probably won't make the topping for just myself. The pancake recipe will be a staple in our household! The search for the best one is over! also sidenote-it is best to stir the batter occassionally when cooking the cakes to decrease the "puffiness" of the batter.

Baked Honey Mustard Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2007
This was very easy to prepare and my family loved it. My 14 yr old said "5 stars"! I was out of regular mustard so I mixed honey mustard, dijon mustard, and honey with the herbs/spices. It turned out good. Served with brussel sprouts and stuffing. I also made a sandwich for lunch the next day adding watercress. It was even better the next day!

Sweet and Sour Chicken I

We loved this. My 14 yr old wanted Chinese takeout and we are trying not to dine out so I told her I would make it at home. She was disappointed until she tried the at home version. My whole family thought this was better than any takeout! yeah!

Fried Rice Restaurant Style

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2007
This was ok. Nothing like restaraunt. The sesame oil (even though used sparingly) is too overpowering. I asked our fav chinese restaraunt what oils they used for their fried rice and they said only veg oil. Skip the sesame oil and it will turn out much better! It wasn't bad though. My husband loved it!

Salmon Fillets with Creamy Dill

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2007
This was my first time making salmon. It turned out pretty good. I didn't need all of the mayo topping and used the reserve for dipping as others suggested. I think mayo on fish is really good, but I will try other ways to prepare salmon. Thanks for the easy fast recipe!
