I’ve been meaning to thank you for sharing this with us for some time; it’s become one of my go to recipes. I really like it and have made it several times, as a matter of fact ones in the oven right now! It’s great for a light lunch or dinner and if I don’t have heavy cream around I always have ½ & ½ so it works just as well.

Mom's Baked Macaroni and Cheese

Finally, a basic mac & cheese recipe that as given not only is easy the throw together, but tastes great too! Like so many others I have tried several other mac & cheese recipes and they always have disappointed me in one way other another. This one is a keeper for sure, thanks for sharing it with us.

Creamy Buttermilk Dressing

I enjoyed this dressing very much. As for it being thick, that’s an easy fix by adjusting the amount of buttermilk. I agree with what someone else said that the lemon juice/vinegar seemed a bit much at first taste. But after an overnight rest in the fridge all the flavors married together and it’s great. Thanks for sharing!

Buttermilk Pie IV

This is a wonderful pie, and for me a go to when ever I make my buttermilk cornbread. It’s easy to prepare and is always a big hit with friends, especially those that have never heard of buttermilk pie! Thanks for sharing.

Mushroom Liver Pate

I love pate and have several different recipes I use, but always love trying new ones. This was easy and delicious. Even one of my friends that ‘hates’ mushrooms liked it, so there you go! I didn’t mold mine either, I put mine into a crock and surrounded it with cocktail rye. Thanks for sharing; I know I’ll be making this one again, and soon.

Maple Pumpkin Cheesecake

Wow! I made this for Thanksgiving and it was delicious and everyone loved it. I’ll be honest, baking isn’t my strong suit, but this was so very easy to put together that even a beginning cook would be fine with it. Thanks for sharing; I can’t wait to make it again.

Holiday Milk Punch: the New Eggnog

This was interesting, different not bad though. But like another reviewer said, to me it did taste pretty much like your drinking a glass of milk, but with a kick to it. But a couple of friends that don’t like eggnog did say they liked this, so as an alternative to eggnog this works just fine. Thanks for sharing.

Hot Buttered Rum Batter

This batter is fantastic! I made it the other day and then had friends over for hot buttered rums and cheesecake. To say it was a hit is an understatement, it was a smash hit! It’s very easy to put together and the fact that it keep in the freezer means you can enjoy them all winter long. That is if the batter would last that long, ha! Thanks so much for sharing, I can’t wait to get home and have one!

Green Onion Ranch Dip

Tried out this dip this last weekend on a camping trip and we all really enjoyed it. Next time I’m going to make it at home so that the flavors can blend together more, but regardless it still was very good.

Caramel Macchiato Ice Cream

OMG, this rocks! Despite loving ice cream, I don’t make ice cream all that often, I have a tendency to make sorbets more often than I do ice creams. But this ice cream is out of this world, it’s full of fat, sugar and flavor, everything you want in an ice cream, ha! I think it’s even great without the caramel sauce, which is why I didn’t get a full batch the first time, yes I said first time, I made it. I kept dipping the spoon into the ice cream maker before it was even done! Thanks so much for sharing this recipe with us, now if you’ll excuse me, I need another dish full!

Hamburger Salad Sandwiches

This afternoon I was thinking about Sloppy Joes, heaven only knows why but I was. Then I came across this recipe and since I had all the ingredients I decided to give it a try. Like others I was leery, but you have to try new things from time to time right? It was ok but it seemed a bit boring to me, it needs something else to perk it up, hot sauce or something. I’m not sure I’ll be making it again, but it might be something different to whip up while camping. None the less, thanks for sharing it with us.

Basic Buttermilk Corn Bread

I had some buttermilk that I needed to use up so I make this recipe. I served it with chili and it was really good. Strangely enough, the taste of this cornbread seemed very familiar to me, so someone from my childhood must have made their cornbread the same way. I’m also looking forward to taking this basic recipe and playing with it a little. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Lemon Cream Pasta with Chicken

One of my co-workers brought in lemons to the office today. So when you’ve got lemons don’t make lemonade, make this dish! I prepared it as written and it’s quite delicious! Honestly, with the bright lemon flavor of this dish, I don’t think I’d change a thing. I know I will be making this one again and often, thanks so much for sharing it with us. Update: I've now made this four times, once while camping with friends, instead of fresh lemons I used lemon juice and it still got rave reviews! To say I have an addiction to this dish is putting it mildly! LOL!

Bacon Crackers

April's Roasted Red Pepper Cheese Ball

This was very good but it made such a large amount I couldn’t see myself putting a cheese ball on the coffee table the size of a soccer ball! LOL! I divided it in half, rolled one in parsley and the other with chopped walnuts. Next time I am going to use the whole jar of roasted peppers and throw in some curry powder as well. This would be perfect to serve in small crocks as well. Thanks for sharing!
