Real Hummus

Great & Easy hummus! All of my guests loved it. I used the changes from the recipe author & this was a great recipe! I wound up having to buy a giant bottle of tahini....guess I'll have to make more hummus ;-) Thank you for the recipe!!

Pumpkin Ginger Cupcakes

Man o man! These were good! I highly recommend. Loved by ALL the adults at our Halloween party. The kids were mixed the next day (one licked the icing off & one only wanted the cupcake), but being an adult, I was VERY happy. Thank you for the wonderful recipe!!! I put a cream cheese icing on these & they were phenomenal.

No Tomato Pasta Sauce

Man oh man, this was good! I sent this recipe to a co-worker that's allergic to tomatoes. He brought it in to work and let me try it. It's yummy! I can tell that there are other veggies in the sauce, but I couldn't tell you that there weren't tomatoes in it. I'm going to start adding this in with my regular tomato based sauce just to get more veggies into the mix. Yum!

Kalua Pork

Man oh Man! This was good and easy. My hubby cooked this this weekend & it is so good! We only cooked our roast for 10 hours on low and it was perfectly done. Will probably add a bit more liquid smoke next time (our roast might have been bigger than what was called for in the recipe). But so good. Made BBQ sauce using liquid smoke and that ramped up the smoke taste just enough ;-). Thanks Linda!!! I've been dying to use that pink Hawaiian salt I brought back with me from Hawaii!

Frosted Grapes

These grapes were very yummy! We used black cherry jello for half of the red grapes and peach jello for the other half of the red grapes. I loved both. My husband and friend decided they liked the black cherry jello with the red grapes best. We'll be trying other flavors of jello too. Thanks for the recipe!!

Lemon Sauce for Salmon Patties

This sauce was outstanding on grilled salmon and very easy to make. I made it in the microwave since my husband had all the eyes on the oven occupied. It took about 5 minutes. Yummy!

Pepper Jelly Glazed Chicken

My husband & I did not like this recipe very much. Don't get me wrong, it was edible, but I will not make it again. It was very bland even though we used hot homemade pepper jelly. Sorry...

Pollo Fajitas

This recipe was wonderful and versatile. My husband & I didn't have any fresh chicken on hand, so we decided to try it with canned white meat chicken. It was excellent. Rinsed the chicken off first and after marinating, put the chicken and the veggies into the skillet at the same time so as to not dry out the already cooked chicken. Served it with taco flavored rice and Paul Newman's Peach Salsa. Excellent! I know it will be even better (somehow) with fresh chicken. Thanks for the recipe Teresa!

Mouth-Watering Stuffed Mushrooms

Thanks for a wonderful recipe! I took some other reviewers advice and added the juice of half a lemon to the stuffing mixture and I used fat free cream cheese and no one could tell. Also, there was not enough mushrooms for me with just the stems so I chopped & sauted some extra mushrooms (plus extra olive oil & minced garlic). It is excellent! Just the right amount of heat with the peppers. Also, the stuffing is good as a dip without baking. Which is handy for tailgating or other situations without an oven or warmer. I had no leftovers and will definitely be making this again soon.
