Chicken and Mushroom Saute

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2008
Delicious! I made with tenderloins so they would cook quicker, worked out great. I also added diced onion and some minced garlic to the sauteed mushrooms (i used fresh instead of canned). We had with mashed potatoes; the sauce makes great gravy! I will definitely make this again! This one's a keeper!

Monkey Bread I

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2007
I guess this was good! Just wasn't too impressed. Sure, I'd make it again. But I'm open for a better recipe. I omitted the raisins too.

I am constantly getting compliments on my burgers when I make this recipe. So tasty! I would recommend this to anyone who wants more than just the store-bought patty. Delicious!

Lemon Poppy Seed Bundt Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2007
I was impressed how good this turned out! I'd never made lemon poppy seed before. I was trying to find the recipe of an old friend; this wasn't it. But still good! I didn't soak my seeds for longer than 10 minutes though. I don't think it did anything anyways. Great recipe!

Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies I

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2007
These are definitely the best oatmeal chocolate chip cookies I've ever had. But we only made half the dough cause we ate/saved the rest! Yummy yummy!

Boilermaker Tailgate Chili

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2007
This is such a great recipe! It's got a great spice, but not too spicy. I made it for a church function and was told it tasted like "restaurant chili". Thanks for the recipe!

Homestyle Turkey, the Michigander Way

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2007
This was the most moist white meat turkey I've ever had! And this was my first turkey! I didn't have dried minced onions so I used onion powder, and I didn't have enough dried parsley so I used rosemary instead. Incredible and so so so moist! My white meat was practically falling apart! Thanks so much for this recipe!

Cake Mix Cookies IV

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2007
Wow! These were the easiest, tastiest little cookies! I made a bunch of little ones so my son could take them to Sunday School, and they were such a hit! I couldn't keep my husband out of the batter though. I just did yellow cake mix with mini choc chips and they turned out spectacular!!!

Truck-Stop Buttermilk Pancakes

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2007
Wow! I will never make pancakes from the box ever again! Awesome recipe, but makes a ton of batter, so be sure to have bags to freeze some. I always half the recipe and still have leftovers. Delicious!!!

Quick Spaghetti Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2007
Super delicious! I changed a couple things because I wanted to make more to put in the freezer. I doubled the garlic, tomatoes, chicken broth, and tomato paste. I also added about 2 tbsp of garlic salt to the 1 1/2 lbs of ground beef I cooked. Along with 1 tsp of ground oregano. Simple and quick recipe! My husband and toddler loved it, and asked for me to make the homemade stuff from now on instead of the store-bought kind.

Pie Crust IV

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2007
Wow! This was my first time making a homemade crust, and my husband said I need to always make homemade. This was way better than any storebought crust! So flaky and the perfect texture! Very easy to handle! I added a little sugar to the crust since I made it with a berry pie. Will make over and over again!

Pumpkin Cheesecake Bars

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2006
Wow! These were a hit! The first time I made them was for a bake-off, and they won 1st place! I didn't have pound cake mix either so I used yellow cake mix. Also, I put a layer of cheesecake in between the crust and pumpkin cheesecake mixture, and baked in a 9 x 13 pan. Incredible! I had everyone at the bake-off begging for the recipe! My husband says he wants to make this our new traditional pumpkin pie! I will definitely make this again and again.
