Peach Cobbler Dump Cake I

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2011
A friend made this recipe and thought I picked the fruit out (because I don't like fruit), the cake was delicious! It does have a strong butter flavor to it, but this is by far the easiest recipe I have ever seen made in my life.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2011
When I pulled this meatloaf out of the oven, it looked overcooked and it was floating in the grease. I wasn't expecting much, but it was FANTASTIC and was perfectly cooked. My husband said it was the best meatloaf he had ever had. Next time, I will put bread under the meat to soak up the grease like another reviewer suggested and I will mix the brown sugar and ketchup and put on the top.

Easy Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2011
I cut this recipe down because I only wanted to make cookies for my husband and I. This did not turn out successful. Although they tasted pretty good, they had the texture of cake rather than the crispiness of cookies. I was disappointed, but will try to make them again without changing the serving size.

Bacon Wrapped Smokies

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2011
When I saw this recipe, I thought it was too simple to be a 5 star dish. I made these for a Christmas get-together and got so many compliments on them. They were gone in no time and everyone loved them. A little time-consuming, but easy and a big hit.

Buttermilk Pie I

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2010
I could not find my grandmothers buttermilk pie recipe, so I decided to use this one since it seemed to be very similar. I was wrong. Tasted nothing like buttermilk pie.

Grandma's Corn Bread Dressing

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2010
Pretty good. I felt like it had a bit too much sage in it, but everyone else thought it was good. Will probably make again next year.

Baked Spaghetti I

Reviewed: May 18, 2010
I really liked this recipe. My husband, who likes everything, didn't like it. I made the recipe exactly as it said with the exception of using mozzarella instead of cheddar, but next time I will add tomatoe paste/sauce to the dish to give it some sort of sauce, as there isn't much in the dish.

Speedy Homemade Salsa

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2010
This recipe is good, but you can taste the cider vinegar. Maybe use less. Still a good recipe.

TOBLERONE-Topped Caramel Cheesecake

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2010
This was the most bland dessert I have ever had in my life. I even went back to check if I had left out an important ingredient because it had so little taste. Thankfully, I made it the night before I brought it to a Super Bowl party and tasted it to make sure it was edible. I would have been embarrassed bringing that to the party!

Ground Beef Stroganoff

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2009
This recipe was a little bland for me. My husband likes just about everything and even he thought it was bland. Add more salt or other seasonings to spice it up and it would be just fine.

Clam Sauce with Linguine

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2009
This recipe is easy, delicious and, best of all, cheap! My husband and I loved it and will be making it again and again! The only suggestion I have is to put extra clams into the sauce. Otherwise, this is a perfect recipe!

Fried Bass

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2009
I was really excited about this recipe because it was very innovative. It was not bad, but I was not very impressed. I used tilapia because it is what I had, so maybe the bass would have tasted better. I liked the crunchiness of the crust, but it really didn't have a whole lot of flavor. I dipped it into cocktail sauce to give it some taste.

Garlic Chicken with Orzo Noodles

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2009
The recipe is good as is considering it is low calorie, but a bit bland. To add more flavor, I added sundried tomatoes. If you've never had sundried tomatoes, try them in this recipe. They are delicious and made this recipe 5 stars instead of 4!

Anaheim Fish Tacos

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2009
I changed this recipe quite a bit due to the fact that I don't normally have leeks or anaheim chiles lying around the house. I used 3/4 of a sweet onion in place of the leeks. I didn't have any fresh tomato or anaheim chiles, so I used 3/4 of a can of 'diced tomatoes and green chiles'. It was fantastic! I have made this recipe the way it asked and it was excellent as well, but a bit spicier than I would have liked due to the anaheim chile. But, I think this is a wonderful recipe and will make it time and time again!

Mouth-Watering Stuffed Mushrooms

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2007
I've been using this recipe for quite some time. These are a crowd pleaser, but I can't help but think that something crunchy needs to be added. Maybe bacon, although that would change the flavor a bit. The mushrooms have a one-note flavor and it just makes you want something more. However, I will say they are very good. I have tasted these before with raw garlic (not my doing). Don't do this! It ruins the taste!

Shrimp and Artichoke Linguine

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2006
This was a very bland dish, although very light. It tasted like sauce-less noodles. I added capers which gave it some flavor.
