I made these minus the chocolate chips because I don't like the sweetness in the morning (which is when I eat my bars. Actually, I pack them in my luggage so I don't have to buy breakfast when I travel :-)). I used pecans instead of cashews (less fattening and I like pecans more) but the bars were sagging so I put them in the oven at 300 degrees for about 20 minutes and they turned out great. Not sure if this happened because I used almond butter instead of peanut butter or if it was because I omitted the chocolate.
