My new found love the last 5 yrs is cooking. Can't tell you how many cookbooks I have and or how many times a day I come on this site. I love it.I work with many dietitans at the Hosp and they are my guinea pigs for everything I make as far as dessert goes, and they love it all.

Desserts , casseroles in the fall. And anything new and different.
My favorite family cooking traditions
IS and always will be at Thanksgiving. I am known for my stuffing and many other recipes. And just love all the family together, and that does not happen often

Baked Hawaiian Sandwiches
I made these up at our camp. I put them on a foil lined baking sheet pan and grilled them. They went so fast at a gathering ,everyone brought something. Many many request for the recipe.My husband raved about them. And said when I review it to give them 10 stars ! I said I can only give them 5 stars. And I have to say they are worth that and more. I rarely give 5 stars.....Oh I omitted the onion, only because I did not have any onion flakes. But I also knew of a few people there that do not like onions. Still they were good..

Rich and Creamy Beef Stroganoff
I liked the taste using the wine. For me though I knew that amount of red pepper was to much. I omitted it and used a dash cayenne pepper.And I also used stew meat beef. It was not tender enough after an hour. Next time I think I will use a better cut of meat or shaved steak or hamburger. And I think the cream cheese takes away from the flavor to much. maybe half of that amount next time.Great tasting ,but lots of steps.. and what a mess I made lol

Banana Bread Bars with Brown Butter Frosting
I brought it to work and my office girls loved it.. Some asked for the recipe. And many people loved the frosting. I halved the frosting and I baked it in a cake pan.Frosting was a perfect amount for me. and next time I make it I will omit the frosting. I think it would be great without it
