I've never had Swiss Chard before but received it in my farm co-op basket. Made this and LOVED it! I had no onions so I used 1T dried onions. A DEFINITE keeper!

Pepperoncini Beef

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2011
SOOOOO good & easy! The pepperoncini give this just the perfect amount of flavor and the meat just fell off the bone. Pepperoncini will now be a staple in my pantry so I can toss this together any time. Thanks for sharing!

Breadsticks with Parmesan Butter

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2007
YUMMY made from scratch breadsticks! I ended up using closer to 5 1/2 or 6 c of bread flour. Instead of making the Parmesan butter, I added 1/2c grated Parm cheese, 3/4t Italian seasonings, and 1t garlic powder to the dough. These were AMAZING & I know I'll be making them again! Thanks!

Maple Syrup Casserole Made in Heaven

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2007
Every year we have friends & their kids over for the weekend, and this has become our standard breakfast. It is SO good! Adults and kids just LOVE it! It does take a while to cook - but it is well worth the effort for me. I have been making it for years, and this year was thinking of adding a layer of fruit for a little twist. Thanks for sharing!

Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Muffins

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2006
EXCELLENT! With all the oatmeal-chocolate chip cookie recipes, I couldn't believe how hard it was to find a recipe for oatmeal-chocolate chip muffins! Thank goodness for this one! These muffins have a great texture! The only change I made was to use a milk chocolate bar b/c I didn't have semi-sweet on hand. I promised my kids chocolate chip muffins for breakfast during their winter break, and wanted something with **SOME** health benefits! I made 12, put them in individual baggies, and froze them last night. They defrost wonderfully! Next time I might try half whole-wheat flour, half white.

Big Soft Ginger Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2006
I love the flavor of gingersnaps, but hate the hard consistency. This recipe was just perfect! I followed the recipe with no changes except that I just dropped little scoops of the dough on my baking stone & dusted with sugar at that point. Wonderful flavor & soft texture. Great for a snack & for breakfast dunked in coffee. THANKS!

Apple Honey Bundt Cake

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2006
I made this for Yom Kippur Break Fast and it was pretty good. Dense, as is typical with honey cakes - but very good flavor. For me, it was missing something....I think I'll add 1/4t of ground cloves next time around. I made a few changes....for the sugar I did 1/3c Splenda, 2/3c sugar. For the oil I did 1/2c oil, 1/2c unsweetened applesauce. Next time I'll also change the flour and do 1 1/2c white and 1c whole wheat (I LOVE whole wheat flour with apples and honey!!). Thanks for sharing!
