About this Cook
I live with my husband, son and daughter. I'm a stay at home mom right now but plan on re-entering the working world soon.
My favorite things to cook
I love baking, so cakes, cookies, pies are my favorites. I make a mean Lemon Meringue Pie! I also make a few Asian dishes often.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Thanksgiving is my favorite cooking holiday; I love to make a huge meal with all the trimmings and usually have a few family members visiting to help eat it.
My cooking triumphs
I am proud of some of the cakes I've baked and decorated, and I have created some rather tasty pizzas--Chicken Tikka Masala pizza, Thai Peanut Chicken pizza.
My cooking tragedies
I ruin Boston Creme Pie every time I try to make it, so I've given it up. Also, I tried to make a tofu dish recently and couldn't even begin because the smell of the tofu could gag a horse.

Ooey Gooey Breakfast Rolls
So simple and delicious! I used a square pyrex dish to bake them, then inverted them into an identical dish. Then I spread cream cheese icing over them and let it melt all over them. Awesome recipe! Next I'll be trying the cream trick mentioned in other reviews. And maybe some orange flavour in my icing. Yummmmm.

Beautiful Salad
Delicious! I left off the onions, as I don't care for raw onions. I used a poppy seed dressing which I found on this site, and the salad was to die for. Thanks for sharing the recipe!
