Slow Cooker Lemon Garlic Chicken I

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2002
I wonder if the measurments are correct because the amount of wine and lemon used is far too much. Very bitter and overpowering, especially for being cooked all day in a slow cooker, you need a more delicate sauce for the chicken to stew in.

Neiman Marcus Chocolate Chip Cookie

Good, but this is not the real recipe for the Neiman Marcus cookies. You may actually find it in this site under "Urban Legend Chocolate Chip Cookies", there's a cookie to die for!

Apple Crumble Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2001
This crumb apple pie was excellent, perfect ratios of butter to flour to sugar to make a delicious, melt in your mouth topping to any apple pie. Thanks for helping make my apple pie a hit at the office.

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2001
This was so good, but instead of doing a lattice crust on top, I did a crumb crust and it was amazing. I believe the pre-cooking of the flour, butter and sugar really makes the difference. This one is a winner, thanks a million for the recipe.

Avocado Delight, don't you mean guacamole? This was good, but at least call it what it is!

Bubble 'n' Squeak II

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2001
Bubble and bland is what this should be called. I thought maybe I could be pleasantly suprised with this dish but was unpleasantly disgusted. Horrible, just horrible.

I don't know about this one folks. I guess the flavors just didn't taste right. Easy? Yes. Yummy? I'm afraid not. I really wouldn't recommend this one.

These are fast, easy and most of all incredible to eat! I couldn't believe how perfect they came out, and they were just as moist and chewy the next day! My friends think I am the ultimate snickerdoodle maker, but Mrs. Sigg is really to thank! Incredible recipe!

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2001
Yes....indeed these are a delectable treat. Raves from friends and co-workers alike. BUT, watch out. Like some other reviewers, I too found that 15 minutes at 400 F was not going to cut it. I ended up turing the oven down to 350 F and letting them go another 10 minutes. But I suppose it all depends on how thick you cut them and also how evenly your oven distributes heat. Overall, very good and worth a try.

Baked Brie in Puff Pastry

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2001
This is just heavenly. I don't use the almonds, and I spoon plenty of apricot preserves over the brie before wrapping and I think this adds the extra kick it needs. Also, for those of you willing to try, this recipie works well with phyllo dough. Just brush melted butter over top of brie, then add preserves, and wrap in 4 sheets of phyllo that have also been brushed with butter. Trim excess dough and freeze. This is very important and should also be done with the puff pastry version. If you don't freeze, the cheese is completely liquid by the time the dough is done, and so this way they both come out perfect. Bake according to package directions.

These were very good, although I did omit the potatoes. My family loved the fact that all the goodies were stuffed inside the burger, and didn't fall out onto the plate so easily! Will make again for sure.
