Chef John's Pumpkin Creme Brulee

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2012
I really liked this recipe but that it was a little different than usual creme brulee texture. My kids actually ate it and it was nice to see something different and super easy to make.

Creamy Banana Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2007
Just made this recipe and it smells great. I added one extra banana and also made it in a fancy cake pan so that I can present it tonight for some friends. I did manage to taste just a little of it and it is awesome. I think I have found a new recipe.

Sophie's Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2007
I just made it and served it to my parents after lunch. It is awesome. I did add only one teaspoon of cinnamon and 2 of pumpkin spice. I will certainly make this again. Yummy!!! Thanks for sharing.

I really enjoyed the crunch of the broccoli with the bacon and cheese. Awesome salad to take to a party or BBQ.

The Best Lemon Bars

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2011
Can't stop making these ones. I have had the recipe for a little while and have made them again and again. The only thing I have changed it I add lemon zest to the recipe.

Lemon Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2012
Super moist and great flavour. I made it with a raspberry filling. I also added 1 tablespoon of lemon extract to the cake batter while mixing. Not only did I make this as a cake but also cupcakes. Both were a hit.

Gramma's Apple Bread Pudding

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2012
I just finished baking this apple bread pudding and it came out moist and delicous. I changed a few things, I put butter instead of margarine and used cranberries and walnuts instead of raisins. I also only had 12 grain sliced toast bread and I believe gave it a more rustic taste. Read most of the reviews so I ended up adding less milk to only 1 cup and it was great. I will be making this one again and again with my changes.

Beef Stew VI

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2013
I made this stew today. I did change a few things bcause I did not have rosemary dried so I used dried orgeano instead. I also used flour to thicken and it worked out great. Another tip is if you like wine add 3 oz and it gives it more body. Great stew!

Carrot Pineapple Cupcakes

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2013
I made the recipes exact. Love the flavours and my kids are eating them up quickly. I would however put another 1/2 cup of powdered sugar into the icing and it is a little softer than usual icings. Otherwise I would make it again and again. Yum-O!

Cream Cheese Christmas Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2006
These are awesome. Not too sweet but just enough sweetness in them. I did not add the nuts nor the extra sprinkled sugar and they are still great.

Extreme Banana Nut Bread 'EBNB'

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2009
I make this recipe often but do change a few things to make it the best recipe ever. I add 4 bananas instead of just the one cup. I also add 1 cup of white chocoalte chips and 1 cup of milk chocolate chips. It never lasts long in this house as people stop by to pick some up when they know I have baked it.

Easy Tiramisu

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2011
I just made this and by far this has been the easiest recipe ever for Tiramisu. I have made many in the past and this has been a great experience. It's sitting in the fridge let's see what the taste is like. Can't wait! I'll post sa review and rate the recipe. I forgot to mention I did leave out the liquor that others suggested. Just tried it and I really love it. I didn't soak the biscuits for long so it turned out great! Saving this one.
