I worked so hard on this recipe and it didn't turn out! It took so long... and I must have had a bit of egg yolk in the whites or visa versa because i didnt like it that much. :(

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2012
Not my favorite. I don't usually like baked cheesecakes, but this one looked so yummy in the picture! Even with with water bath is cracked.

Baked Zucchini

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2012
My father in law always grows giant zucchinis so I'm constantly searching for great zucchini recipes. I like this one because it is basic and still yummy. I like to serve it with marinated chicken.

Orange Cream Fruit Salad

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2012
I originally found this recipe on this site in 2007. Today, I logged back in to find it because my copy was covered in food, ick! Any way... I usually make it with white chocolate pudding or cheesecake pudding and it turns out fantastic. I have also been known the change up the fruit in it and it always turns out well. This time, I ran out of sour cream so I used vanilla Greek yogurt and it was tasty too. I like the creamy, tanginess taste that the salad has.

Chicken with Brie and Caramelized Onions

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2012
This is becoming one of our favorite meals, although the more I make it the more I change it up a bit to make it lighter and faster. Usually I cook the sliced onions until they are translucent in just a tiny bit of butter, and then add a tablespoon of sugar and balmic vinegar. While that is cooking, I will dip the chicken in the egg, and then dredge in flour. Next, salt and pepper the chicken and brown on each side in a tiny bit of olive oil. In a casserole dish, I will lay the chicken, Brie, and top off with onions and bake all of that. While that is in the oven, I will make the sauce. I have never had any problems with the sauce... and I think it adds a lot to the meal.

Turkey Pot Pie I

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2008
Tasty. I made it just as the recipe said and we loved it! It wasn't too salty and didn't need any other seasoning. Normally my hubby doesn't make it through a meal with out reaching for the Cajon. But not this time! I would also like to try this with different veggies like corn and green beans.

Very good! I've made it exactly like it said and I've also skipped the crackers and wine and it's still tasty.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2007
Alright, I admit it. The 1st time I made the recipe I missed the instruction with all the water and it was horrible! But the 2nd time I made it I was very impressed. I didn't think it was too salty at all. It did cook for 14 hours but would have been better if it only cooked for 10-12.

Old Fashioned Coconut Cream Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2006
I don't like coconut cream pie, but someone requested I make this for their birthday. So I thought why not? In the end I was pretty impressed. I did use coconut extract instead of vanilla, and I used 1/2 corn starch and 1/2 flour. I used a cast iron pot and never quite got it to a boiling point but after an hour and an half it thickened up really nice. To top it off I whipped my own cream, but because the filling was so rich I didn't add any sugar to the cream. It was a great balance.

Chocolate Cavity Maker Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2006
Wow! Everyone loves this cake! People who don't even like chocolate have told me how wonderful it is. Usually I make it just like the directions say but I have substituted Hershey's surup for the liquer and gotten really good results. I like to make a glaze out of butter and Giradelli Milk chocolate chips. I also found that it is much better if you eat it the next day.
