Chicken and Tomato Stew with Arugula and Cannellini

I really liked this recipe as written but found that it needed a little additional salt. The second time I made this I changed the 1 cup of white wine to 1/2 cup of white wine and 1/2 cup of chicken broth and found the end result just perfect! Thanks, this is delicious and a keeper!

Marie's Easy Slow Cooker Pot Roast

This recipe is great as is, but you can also add button or crimini mushrooms for the last hour of cooking, if you like them. I usually added extra veggies as well, as I LOVE pot roast carrots.

Holiday Pumpkin Bread

Here is an alternate for those of you who like your pumpkin bread EXTRA pumpkin-y. I added some extra pumpkin, using a whole 29 oz can of pumpkin, cut down the water to 1/3 cup and added 1 cup of sweetened flaked coconut to the basic recipe plus used walnuts AND raisins (I like lots of stuff in my quick breads). This makes 8 small loaves of bread. This loaf is great for gift giving to eat for breakfast with tea or coffee.

Delicious Pumpkin Bread

First off, let me reiterate the advice of others, use 2 cups of sugar, one white and one brown. Also, I also liked the advice to increase the spices. (Mine totaled 2 TBSP once I finished of cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg.) Just a word of warning, don't put too much stuff into this wonderful bread or you will miss the good pumpkin flavor. On one batch I added craisins, nuts and chocolate chips. It was just too much and overpowered the subtle sweetness of the bread, but as the mistake was my own, it didn't affect my rating. ENJOY!

Luscious Lima Bean Soup

What I really liked about this recipe is that if you sub onion for leek and shallot, you can make it from basic staples from the pantry. It was very flavorful and there are flavor tweaking options in the reviews.
