Irish Spicy Cornbread

Excellent cornbread. My father is from the south and taught me how to make cornbread - always in a cast iron pan. Makes all the difference. The spiciness is perfect for my family's taste. Thank you for the recipe!

Super Simple Salmon

This was way too salty. Smelled wonderful while cooking, but very disappointing. I do think if salt was cut in half, it would be a decent recipe.

Zucchini Cornbread Casserole

Very tasty! I was looking for something different from my usual zucchini casserole recipe and decided to try this. It couldn't be easier to prepare and boy is it good. I had no problem with too much water from the zucchini - it came out perfect following the recipe to a "T" and the cooking time of 1 hr. is right on. I couldn't wait for lunch today to have some of the leftovers!

Ham and Beans

This is the best recipe for ham and beans that I have found. It is slightly sweet and adding a few drops of your favorite hot sauce to each bowl makes it absolutely perfect. Serve with fresh, hot cornbread and you have a wonderful meal on a cold winter night!

Simple Baked Apples

Great recipe. My family loved it. The only change I made was to dot with butter before baking. Also I would recommend stirring occasionally during baking. Served with ham steak and sweet potatoes. I will be trying leftovers tomorrow morning with french toast. Thanks for the recipe!

Dark Chocolate Cake I

I don't know what happened as I followed the recipe exactly. The cake stuck in my nice new non-stick pans even after greasing them. Maybe I should have floured them also. I baked for 25 minutes, tested with a toothpick, and removed them from the oven at that time. I did not overbake, but the cake was dry and fell apart. Threw the whole thing away.

Banana Banana Bread

This is by far the best banana bread I have ever had. I have tried many recipes and this one is sooo moist and delicious. My husband even suggested I go to the grocery store and ask the produce clerk for overripe bananas that they have taken off the shelf so we don't have to wait for ours to ripen for me to make more! Thank you!
