Chicken Pot Pie IX

I made this twice. I used a combination of the recommended changes. I used a deep dish pie plate - 2 lb. chicken - 1 cup carrots - 1 cup celery - 1 cup potato - cooked them in chicken broth - added 1 clove garlic to the butter and onion (used 1/2 cup onion and little more butter), after adding the flour, milk (used 1 cup milk), salt, and pepper - also added a little poultry seasoning and chicken base - left out celery seed and chicken broth and added a can of cream of chicken soup - this made and very thick mixture to to pour over the top of the chicken. Cooked at 350 degrees for 45 minutes and it was great.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

I loved this soup. Everyone in the family loved this soup. I doubled the recipe. I used 2 cups milk and 2 cups heavy whipping cream (left over from Fettuccine Alfredo V - another excellent recipe). I used 3 1/4 cups water and 3 1/4 cup chicken broth. I also put a little minced garlic in the butter while it melted. Thank you so much for this recipe - I finally can make a great bowl of potato soup.

Fettuccine Alfredo V

This was my first attempt at making Alfredo and this is the only one I will ever make. I followed the recipe exactly as printed. I had three kids for supper and all three had more than one serving. Your kids will love it.

Slow Cooker Turkey Breast

I put a little water in the bottom of the crock pot, put olive oil and the onion soup mix on the turkey. I cooked the whole time on low and this turned out better than any turkey breast I have ever made. This is a great recipe.

Slow Cooker Swiss Steak

One of the reviews left out the celery and onion. And replaced them with mushrooms and garlic. I used that version of the recipe and added 2 small cans of mushrooms and a teaspoon of garlic. I also added a couple beef bouillon cubes. Probably the only thing I would change is to add a little more garlic. I never expected this to be that good!
