Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2010
I give this a 4.5 I used a pilsbury roll out crust (2) and it only needed about 15 minutes bake time once all assembled. I baked the under crust for a bout 5 min, added garlic salt & cooked the onion (red) with the carrot combo. Very nice recipe, and uses staple ingredientes I always have on hand! I also used individual dishes which was fun.

Big Soft Ginger Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2010
So soft, chewy and delicious! I used these for ice cream sandwiches (with dryers coffee slow churned ice cream) and the combo was to die for! My husband loved it! I didn't have ground cinn or cloves so I subbed those spices for Trader Joes pumpkin pie spice and it worked great! I also made the cookies a little bigger for the sammies. this recipe is going to be a regular!

Luscious Spinach Artichoke Dip

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2010
So easy, and SO good! I make this for the superbowl and it didn't last long! Served it with toasted sliced crusty bread. I added fresh ground pepper, used garlic salt and fresh parmesan cheese in and on top. I will certainly make this again! I also used Costcos marinated artichoke hearts which added great flavor to the dish!

Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2009
So easy and yummy too! I didn't have mini- muffin pans so I used just a plain old sheet pan- worked great (just didn't come out with the same shape. I also didin't have regular sugar, so Trader Joes Turbinado raw sugar and it worked great. I sprinkled a little sugar on top when the peanut butter cups were a little melted. I also used Trader joes extra mini peanutbutter, so some larger cookies I pushed a few insead of just one on each. Overall, such a cute-easy-tasty recipe! Fail proof!

Baked Potato Soup V

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2009
I get asked to make this so much, such a crowd pleaser. Who dosent like a baked potato anyway? I always bake my potatos the morning of and scoop them when they are cooled for easier prep later. I also use 1% milk, 1/2 containter of sour cream, real bacon chopped, and add garlic for added flavor. One of my favorite soups for fall and winter!

Homemade Mac and Cheese

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2009
So simple and delish for a cold fall night! My picky hubby loved it, and took it for leftovers the next day! Seemed runny untill I baked it- I used 1/2 sharp cheddar, and 1/2 mexican blend cheese because that's what I had in my fridge, I also added a scoop of sour cream and used italian seasoned breadcrumbs for added flavor. So yummy!

Hummus IV

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2008
I had to alter this one a lot to make it taste good. too much lemon (i added another can of beans whiched helped), i couldn't get the right texture-beans were chunky, could have been my food processor or my fault. I also added double the red pepper flakes and fresh parsley for taste. turned out tasty in my pita pocket!
