Chocolate Chip Cheese Ball

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2009
My circle of friends and I call this a "Fat Ball". I've been making it for years and it's always a big hit. It's also known as Cannoli Dip. I omit the nuts. Enjoy!!!

Mean Woman Pasta

Perfect recipe when you don't want to heat up the kitchen on a summer day. I had left over pasta so I served it over cold pasta and it was so good!!!

Best-Ever Texas Caviar

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2009
I made this for my vegetarian, 8th grade daughter's school lunch. She and her friends liked it so much they all asked for the recipe. I've been asked to make it for her "lunch table" several times already this school year.

Shrimp Scampi V

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2009
Very, very good!!! I cut back the butter to 1/4 cup and used 1/4 of olive oil like others suggested to reduce the fat. I'll definately make this again. I might add some sauteed peppers and onions next time.

Garlic Red Potatoes

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2009
These turned out very good except for the fact that I had to bake them longer than what the recipe called for. Next time I will follow the other reviewers. suggestions and bake at a higher temp. for longer or first parboil.

Three Cheese Manicotti II

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2009
I followed the recipe as stated but used the tips of others....soaked in hot water for 15 min. and used a large ziplock bag w/ the end snipped to pipe the cheese filling into the pasta tube. My whole family loved it!

Addictive Sweet Potato Burritos

I only tried this recipe because of the great reviews it received...if it were just left to the ingredients, I would've skipped over it. It was absolutely delicious! All of my kids and their friends loved them too. I'll definately make these again.

Greek Pasta Salad with Shrimp, Tomatoes, Zucchini, Peppers, and Feta

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2009
A perfect hot weather dinner! I followed the recipe exactly as it was printed and it turned out perfect. There wasn't much to clean up since I mixed the dressing right in a screw-top jar, put the roasted veges. on the cutting board to cool, and used the roasting cookie sheet to then cool the pasta. I put all of the other ingredients directly in a gallon zip lock bag instead of dirtying another bowl and would make traveling easier. I will definately make this again.

Maryland Crab Cakes III

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2009
We made these just as the recipe states and they turned out wonderful! We prepped/shaped them earlier in the day since we had a very busy evening and then broiled them for a quick dinner. So delicious! Next time I'll add more Old Bay because that's what we like.

Crispy Fish Fillets

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2009
I made this recipe last night for dinner and everybody really liked it. I followed the recipe as stated but I did first dredge in flour, then egg mixture and lastly the potato flakes. I didn't give it a 5 star rating b/c I think it would be better with some seasoning added to it. Next time, I'll try it w/ some old bay or cayenne pepper to spice it up. All three of my kids LOVED it!

A nice, refreshing salad. I made this by following the recipe as it's printed and it turned out great. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 b/c my kids didn't like it at all. Next time I'll try it w/ some of the other suggestions and see how it turns out.

This was really good. Not hearty enough for a meal on its own, but as a side dish to compliment an Asian-style meal.

No way! Tempeh is not a family favorite, apparently. My husband was the only one who ate a whole sandwich.
