Chocolate Chip Cookies for Special Diets

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2006
This cookie was a huge hit with everyone, especially the kids. They had no idea that it was made without sugar. I did make some changes after reading everyone's comments. I doubled the recipe & still did not get more than 60 cookies - I used a mini scoop. To make the color better, I used 1/2 Splenda & 1/2 Splenda Brown Sugar. Instead of regular chips, I used mini chips (it looked like more chips). I used 1/2 vanilla & 1/2 almond extract. I would definitely make these again.

Thanksgiving Sweet Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2007
Yummy, yummy, yummy. Very fast and easy to make. I drained a large can of sweet potatoes and sliced them up a bit while in the baking dish. They were a huge hit.

Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2011
This is my favorite chicken recipe. I always make lots and freeze it in portions in a vacuum bag to use at another time. When I do this, I slightly undercook the chicken so it is not dry when reheated. Carol, thanks so much for a wonderful recipe.

Meat/Brisket - Jewish Style Sweet and Sour

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2011
I gave MY recipe that I submitted 5 stars just like everyone else has done. Hmmm - Why would you change the name of MY recipe? Just put it in the reviews under my recipe that it is great with all types of meat just like so many others have done.

Grandma Johnson's Scones

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2012
Just made these exactly as written and served them at a "High Tea" today to 63 very opinionated woman and they were a HUGE success. Everyone told me these were the BEST scones they ever tasted - and not dry as they usually are. This was the first time I ever tasted a scone and I'd have to agree. Thanks for making our tea such a hit with the ladies.

Raspberry and Almond Shortbread Thumbprints

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2012
Made these for a "High Tea" today. I had 63 women telling me they were the best cookies they have ever tasted. I did not even drizzle the icing since I had so many other things to do. I used the Chapstick as someone suggested and it worked like a gem. The cookies looked perfect. Thanks a million.
