Mini Crescent Dogs

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2007
I made these as an appetizer one night and I cooked them as long as the recipe said and they were kind of burned on the bottoms. Next time will not leave them in as long. Overall, very good still.

Fantasy Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2007
This turned out to be a favorite on the candy trays I made this year. It was my first time making fudge, however I accidentally bought unsweetened baking chocolate, fortunately I had an extra bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips, which thankfully the fudge still turned out great. Will make this one again next year!

Crunchy Peanut Butter Balls

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2007
One word...FABULOUS! These were another big hit from my candy trays this year. I even slipped a few myself they were so good. I wasn't sure how the peanut butter and marshmallow would taste together, but I was definitely surprised. Will make this one again for sure!

Slow Cooker Beef Stew I

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2007
Loved this stew! My mom always made the stuff out of the can, so I thought I would try it making it on my own and it turned out excellent. I used 2 cans of beef broth since I used more meat, potatoes and carrots than recipe calls for, I also added a little more Worchesire (sp?) sauce. It still turned out great! This recipe is a keeper!

Cola Pot Roast II

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2007
I made this in a slow cooker. It sat all day and when I got home the meat was so juicy and tender. My husband said that this is the best dinner I have ever made and it is his new favorite. At first he wasn't too sure about the cola in it, and I told him it would taste great. I loved it, thanks for sharing!

Turtle Bars

Not sure if I did something wrong with this one but the peacans and chocolate kept crumbling off the crust. My husband and brother in law said they tasted great but they crumbled easily.

Vanilla - Chocolate Powdered Sugar Frosting

This frosting was okay..came out a little sweet and when I tried adding milk to it like the recipe says it just made it really runny..I will stick to store bought frosting.

I received a lot of compliments on this from my in-laws, they did say though it does go better with cool-whip or vanilla ice cream, but even just plain was fabulous. Will make this one again next year!

This dish was so easy to make and tasted really good! I would have preferred BBQ Chicken off the grill, but this makes a fantastic substitute.
