Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies II

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2007
Yummy! No substitutions and they were great! I don't know how they fair the next day because I limit myself to a few cookies and freeze the rest of the dough in balls. I pop them in the oven frozen for fresher cookies.

This is now our family favorite. My kids beg me to make these waffles all of the time.

Chocolate Texas Sheet Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2007
This is just like I remember when I was a kid. This cake is super EASY and moist. Thanks for the memories! I did not have a sheet cake pan and baked it in a 9 X 13. It worked just the same but of course I had to slightly adjust the cooking time.

Puffed Cauliflower Cheese

Reviewed: May 4, 2007
This is the best way I have ever had cauliflower! Let's face it, it's a bland veggie. I did add some minced onion (good decision) and would have preferred the pepper jack cheese (as suggested by others) but I was out of it. Not a 5 star rating for me only because I don't HAVE to HAVE this again. I will use this recipe when I prepare cauliflower. I might just add some sundried tomatoes next time.

Slow-Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2007
This is my FAVORITE soup. I made no changes. I did use frozen chicken and just pulled it apart after cooking. It shredded very nicely. I have made it a couple of times and everyone has loved it.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2006
Yummy, yummy comfort food. After cooking for 4 hours my power went out. I had to finish it by putting it in a double boiler and cooking the biscuits that way. The chicken was cooked by that point. The double boiler worked, thank goodness I have a gas stove! I did add some veggies and pepper. A keeper!

Pecan Chicken Breasts Stuffed with Cream Cheese and Broccoli

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2006
Quite delicious. My very picky children even liked it and it is a great way to get disguised veggies into their diet. I accidently added too much cream cheese and it still tasted great. I may season the breasts w/a little salt and pepper next time.
