Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies II

Yummy! No substitutions and they were great! I don't know how they fair the next day because I limit myself to a few cookies and freeze the rest of the dough in balls. I pop them in the oven frozen for fresher cookies.

Chocolate Texas Sheet Cake

This is just like I remember when I was a kid. This cake is super EASY and moist. Thanks for the memories! I did not have a sheet cake pan and baked it in a 9 X 13. It worked just the same but of course I had to slightly adjust the cooking time.

Puffed Cauliflower Cheese

This is the best way I have ever had cauliflower! Let's face it, it's a bland veggie. I did add some minced onion (good decision) and would have preferred the pepper jack cheese (as suggested by others) but I was out of it. Not a 5 star rating for me only because I don't HAVE to HAVE this again. I will use this recipe when I prepare cauliflower. I might just add some sundried tomatoes next time.

Slow-Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup

This is my FAVORITE soup. I made no changes. I did use frozen chicken and just pulled it apart after cooking. It shredded very nicely. I have made it a couple of times and everyone has loved it.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Yummy, yummy comfort food. After cooking for 4 hours my power went out. I had to finish it by putting it in a double boiler and cooking the biscuits that way. The chicken was cooked by that point. The double boiler worked, thank goodness I have a gas stove! I did add some veggies and pepper. A keeper!

Pecan Chicken Breasts Stuffed with Cream Cheese and Broccoli

Quite delicious. My very picky children even liked it and it is a great way to get disguised veggies into their diet. I accidently added too much cream cheese and it still tasted great. I may season the breasts w/a little salt and pepper next time.
