Green Beans with Cherry Tomatoes

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2010
Really good way to use some tomatoes from the garden. I cut the butter and sugar in half and will cut back even further next time I make this side dish.

Asparagus with Sliced Almonds and Parmesan Cheese

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2009
Really fast and definitely easy! I followed others suggestions of boiling asparagus a couple of minutes before putting in a skillet and I shredded parmesan on after it had been plated. Also, I used pine nuts instead of almonds because I had them on hand. I love roasted asparagus and this was definitely a nice change. I will make again.

Curried Salmon Bake

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2008
Super easy!! I always try recipes as written the first time and adjust as needed the second time. The only thing I will do next time is add more curry paste as we prefer a little more 'kick'.

Asparagus and Cashews

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2008
Really great combination and flavor - only thing I will change is the amount of oil I start with as the dish turned out a little to oily for our taste

Garlic Cheddar Chicken

Reviewed: May 9, 2007
Feeling a bit guilty as the chicken is DIPPED in butter. Fortunately (or unfortunately) it is delicious, so will be making again and again. I made it with Baked Ziti II from this site and enjoyed a very good and filling meal.

Baked Ziti II

Reviewed: May 9, 2007
Very good, and very easy. Could improve with a bit more spice/taste. May be due to canned sauce. I made with garlic cheddar chicken from the sight for a really filling meal.

Cheeseburger Soup I

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2007
Very creamy and nice comfort food taste. It was missing some taste at the end, so will work on what I want to add next time. Will definitely make again.

Artichoke Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2007
Yum!! I liked this a lot, but my husband liked it even more. His only suggestion was to make more sauce next time. I did as others suggested and halved the mayo and added sour cream, then served on rice. Thanks for the recipe.

Baked Corn I

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2006
Not at all what I expected. This is like a corn pudding - not a bread/muffin type of recipe. The taste was definitely good. It just wasn't good enough to outweigh the guilt of all the butter and sour cream. If I am going to indulge, it will be on something else.

All-Day Apple Butter

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2006
I am giving this recipe 4 stars because it is too sweet for my taste, but I served this for Thanksgiving dinner with rolls and all the guests loved it. I used Granny Smith apples and followed the directions as written. Using a food processor for the apple will save you a ton of time on the chopping.

Lemon Garlic Tilapia

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2006
This recipe is very quick and easy to prepare. Great meal for a busy week night, but definitely good enough for company with some boiled potatoes and a white parsley sauce. I used fresh parsley on the fish and it burned, so next time will use dried or try as other reviewers suggest and saute ingredients before pouring on fish.

Swedish Nuts II

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2006
I took these to a fall themed supper club last night and they were a hit. I followed the directions exactly as written. These nuts are quick and easy to make and I will be sharing them with many others over the holidays.
