Too Much Chocolate Cake

This is like the Cavity Maker recipe. This is good, but I like the Cavity Maker just a little bit better.

Spaghetti Pie III

I don't know in what universe this dish could be better than lasagna...because it's just mac 'n cheese....and not that good. I agree with the reviewer who said, "It's a lot of work for noodles with cheese on top."

Lite Coconut Cake

The key to this cake is to make it at least 2-3 days ahead of time. If you serve it the same day, it's a good cake. If you wait the 2-3 days, it's an outrageously delicious cake! To reduce the calories even more, I use FF/SF cake mix, Splenda instead of sugar; and low fat Cool Whip. And with those substitutions, it is still SCRUMPTIOS!!!!

Plastic Chocolate

This is great! I made about 85 white roses for my mom's 85th birthday.(I used confectioners sugar instead of cocoa mix---but vegetabale oil sounds like a good alternative too!). They covered the top of my mom's birthday 4 tier chocolate birthday cake. It was gorgeous. A real show stopper. Everyone wanted a picture!!! I have 2 requests for this birthday cake for next year! I've been experimenting with the plastic and used it to mold bowling pins and bowling balls for my 7 y.o. birthday cake; I made a school bus for the teachers when they started school this year. It's a long time to learn how to manipulate the plastic chocolate but it is sooooooo worth it!

Ricotta Cake

Everyone asks for this cake! If its a holiday, birthday or just a get together...friends and family want this outrageously delicious cake. It's so easy to make and you don't have to change a thing to the recipe. I wish I had a dollar for everytime I'm asked for this recipe. I even had a woman from Italy ask me for the recipe! That's when I knew this was the "real" thing!! (I also make a lite version: fat free ricotta, egg substitute and sugar substitute.)

Chocolate Frosting I

Take this from a person who doesn't like chocolate frosting, this frosting is delicious!!!! I love this frosting and so did everyone who ate my chocolate cake. The bakers at the party all wanted the recipe. Follow the tips in the reviews. I found them all useful.

Sara's Awesome Pumpkin Bread

I won't make it again. The last word I would use for this recipe is "awesome." It was dry, salty, and below average. I made it 3 times. The first time, it was dry and salty. The second time, I added raisins and walnuts. It tasted dry and salty but with raisins and walnuts. The third time, I added extra sugar, extra oil and one additional egg (along with the raisins and walnuts; this third time, it was a completely different recipe and tasted pretty good...but still not "awesome." Bottom line, don't bother.

October Apple Pie

I love this recipe. It's easy to make but seems it took a long time. My husband isn't a fan of apple pie, but he ate two pieces of this pie. Some bakers had a hard time melting the caramels. In the produce section, you can sometimes find caramel already "liquid". (I think Marzetti makes it.) I also excluded the nutmeg just to adjust it to my family's personal taste. This pie is great. When served hot, it's out of this world!
