Southwest Chicken

The only reason it got a 5 is b/c I added salt, pepper, and cumin to my chicken WHILE it was cooking. I wouldn't recommend cooking any chicken without any seasonings.

Layered Chicken and Black Bean Enchilada Casserole

ADD MORE SAUCE. This was dry b/c the corn tortillas soaked up all of the little bit of sauce the recipe called for. I would use 2 cans if I ever make this again. It was just ok.

Mine neede a little bit more soy sauce or salt b/c the salt flavor only penitrated the outside of the chicken and I like a hint of it to the bone.

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

I think it called for the chicken to be in there for too long. My chicken came out with a brown coating all around and it tasted burnt. I followed the directions, which I always do the first time. Well, atleast hubby ate it on sandwiches for work. If I tried this again, I would cook it for less time and put the chicken in there raw. TRY pulling apart frozen chicken and cleaning it too.

Peanut Butter Bars I

I would suggest ot use name brand graham crackers. I didn't and it turned out kinda gritty but the longer it sat in the fridge the gritty went away. My friend loved them and took all of them home.

Slow Cooker Thai Peanut Pork

The recipe called for the meat to cook too long. It turned out more like a stew and that wasn't expected. Also, when it came time for me to take out the meat the peppers had pretty much disolved in the sauce and nothing but the skins were left over. Gross! I might have to do some revising b/c the flavor I can work with.

Anniversary Chicken I

Was really easy to make. I did season the chicken while it cooked in the pan b/c I don't believe in cooking chicken with NO seasoning. We all enjoyed it that night but, was not so good as a left over.

Summer Couscous

I would suggest cooking the couscous the way the directions on the box say to do it. I tried cooking it the way this recipe called for and it was slightly crunchy and chewy. Thank goodness I had 2 boxes and was able to try it the box directions. It was lacking flavor except for the fresh ingredients.

White Cheese Chicken Lasagna

This was so flavorful!! It smelled great, too. The only change I had to make was instead of the dried basil I used the italian seasoning that you would add to spaghetti b/c it had basil as one of the main ingredients.

BLT Macaroni Salad

Too tangy. I guess I shouldn't have used Miracle Whip b/c there may be a big difference in the flavor, had I followed the directions which stated to use Mayonaise, it MIGHT have tasted better.

Catherine's Spicy Chicken Soup

This soup was so good. The only reason why I rated it a 4 is because I expected it to be more spicy, so I had to add some green hot sauce to it and it not only made it more spicy but also gave it a tangy flavor that I loved.

Baked Spaghetti Squash with Beef and Veggies

Tasty and healthy is a great combo for me! I might be using spaghetti squash instead of pasta sometimes because it is low carb and adds way more vitamins.
