Simple Mac and Cheese

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2011
I have to say I was surprised at how good this was and the kids gobbled it up, so I'm pretty sure they would agree. I did add 1/2 tsp of garlic powder and 3/4 tsp of season salt to the soup and cheese mixture, then topped it with Ritz cracker crumbs since I had some on hand. By the way, stick with the cream of mushroom soup. I tried this recipe a second time with cheese "soup" and it wasn't nearly as flavorful!

Slow-Cooker Pepper Steak

The meat was super tender, but this recipe needed more spice. I followed the recipe exactly. If I ever make this again, I may add some garlic and worchestershire sauce for a little flavor.

Great as is...might try adding some pine nuts or sundried tomatoes.

Creamy Egg Salad Sandwiches

A little dry for my taste, even after adding a little extra mayo. The cream cheese kind of over-powered the taste.

Pork Chops with Raspberry Sauce

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2007
My husband requests this recipe often. I have made it with both pork chops and a pork loin. When using a pork loin, I double the spice rub, brown it in the pan, then finish it in the oven.

Greek Pasta Salad

Great! Used olive oil instead of vegtable oil, omitted the cucumber (too watery), and added some feta cheese.

Slow Cooker London Broil

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2006
Great sauce! After reading other reviews, I added 1/2 cup of worcestershire sauce to the soup mixture at the beginning and 2 tbsp. of fat free sour cream just before serving. Cooked at low for nine hours and meat was tender. I look forward to fixing this again and using the sauce for other cuts of meat.
