I used 4 cups flour and salted butter, then added 1 tsp vanilla. Yummy!

Make-Ahead Turkey Gravy

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2011
Excellent recipe and yummy gravy! It was so nice to have this done ahead of time and it makes lots. I couldn't get turkey wings so I used a turkey "hind quarter" piece (leg/thigh/etc) and I forgot to put the onions in the oven with it so those were added to the broth step. It was great and so smooth!

Awesome Sausage, Apple and Cranberry Stuffing

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2011
This was good. I am not sure what the point of the sausage is - I didn't even notice it in the stuffing so then it was just adding calories without taste. Next time I would forgo the sausage.

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2010
This is a family favorite! I have tried a few different kinds of beer and porter is definitely best. I also double the beef broth and use a package of dry onion soup mix. Plus I throw in half an onion (diced) and 2 cloves minced garlic. I like it best when the beef is shredded rather than sliced. Yummy!
