Grandma's Butterscotch Pie

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2009
This turned out perfect. I made this for a friend and he said it was the best pie he'd ever had. I didn't do the double boiler and had to turn the heat up quite a bit to get it to thicken, other than that no problem. I am making two more of these tonight. Thanks for a great recipe.

Favorite Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2008
These are sooooo good. Easy to make. They came out perfect. Good flavor. I stuck the bowl of dough in the freezer for 15 or 20 min. just to make sure it was stiff enough to work with and the dough rolled perfect. I will definately be making these again and again. Thanks for a great recipe.

Brown Sugar Cookies I

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2008
These were pretty good. I added a half cup of white sugar too. They weren't all that sweet, but they tasted better the next day. The kids ate them up.

Whipped Cream Cake II

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2008
This had a really good flavor. It was so moist that I couldn't have frosted it if I had wanted to. It just came apart when I touched it. The sweetness was just right for me. My kids loved it. Yum.

Fluffy Peanut Butter Frosting

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2007
This was really good. My 3 yr. old son tasted it out of the bowl and says "woo-hoo". Just make sure your cake or whatever you're putting it on is completely cool or the peanut butter will melt and the milk will seperate from it a little. I should have been more paitient with the cooling. Oh well, great recipe and I will definitely use this one again.

Blonde Brownies III

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2007
These were so good. I took the advice of another viewer and cut the flour to 2 1/2 cups and added 1 tsp. vanilla. I also topped them with the Fluffy Peanut Butter Frosting off of this site. I didn't have the chocolate or walnuts to put in it either, but they were still great. Will definitely make these again. Thanks.

Corn Dogs

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2007
These turned out perfect. My 13 yr. old daughter thought I was crazy for making homemade corn dogs, but after she tried them she wanted to know when we were having them again. No more store bought corn dogs for this family.

Poor Man's Frosting

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2007
This had a good taste, but it was runny instead of fluffy. I haven't figured out what I done wrong yet. I might have to give it another try. It wasn't too sweet, but just sweet enough. Thanks.

My Mom's Chocolate Cake

This was so good. My three year old wanted cake the other night and I didn't have a cake mix so I searched and searched and decided to try this recipe. Everyone liked it. Thanks.

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2006
The best pancake recipe ever. I make these at least twice a week. I changed a couple of things though. I use 2tsp. baking powder, 2tbsp. sugar and 1tbsp. vegatable oil instead of butter(I use butter to fry them in).

Deep Dish Brownies

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2006
The only brownie recipe I ever use. It's the best. I only add 2 eggs, cut sugar down to 1 1/4 cups, omit baking powder and add 3/4 chocolate chips. They are super chewy and super chocolatey. I have to make these for my family at least once a week.
