About this Cook
If I'm not behind the camera, my next favorite place to be is in the kitchen. To me, the kitchen is the central hub of a home. I find joy in learning new things about food, friends and the world in kitchens.
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake just about anything. I also am learning to enjoy preparing tasty appetizers and side dishes.
My cooking tragedies
As a teen, I once inadvertantly added 1 cup of salt instead of sugar to my icing recipe. The error was realized when I handed my sisters the beaters to "clean" off the icing. Their faces were priceless!!!

Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies
What a great recipe! My gluten free friend will love this! I made these for an open house so I rolled them small. The finished cookie is bite size at about an inch wide. The recipe made about forty cookies rolled that way. I also did the suggest 1/2 and 1/4 sugars.

Chocolate Snaps Sugar Cookie
This recipe is very good. The cookies are krispy and have a good flavor. They will go well with the tea I am hosting.
