Banana Banana Bread

I added 1 tsp vanilla, 1/2c walnuts, 1/2c chocolate chips. Add more brown sugar if your bananas are not over ripe. Very very tasty!

Lentil Soup

Good recipe - but not great. I added barley along with the lentils. Added chicken and spinach towards the end. Added cumin and balsamic vinegar for seasoning.

It could use a little more flavoring but was quite good for such an easy recipe. I made a paste of all ingredients in the food processor. I cooked it on high which might have burnt the chocolate to make it bitter. After reading a helpful review I added 2 tbsps of apple cider vinegar - the bitterness was reduced substantially the next day. Next time I would lightly fry the onions because the smelled a little raw to me.

Cranberry Nut Bread I

Amazing!! I used 1 1/2 cups of cranberries and 2/3 cups of walnut and 1 cup of sugar (because I was worried about tartness due to extra cranberries). Kept the rest same. I chopped the cranberries and walnuts in the food processor. They were fairly finely chopped. Will be making it again soon!

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

The best pulled pork we've ever tasted!! We used Boston Butt and Mug root beer. We used lot more of the root beer than suggested since we wanted to cover the meat pieces. We cooked it in the slow cooker on low setting for 8 hours. The meat was moist and flavorful! After draining the fat and liquid off, pulling the pork we added around 6 ounces of Hunt's BBQ sauce and cooked in slow cooker (low) for another 30 mins. It was delicious!!!

No Bake Chocolate Oat Bars

Excellent recipe! I used 1/2 cup of butter but the oats were staying dry and crumbly. So I added 2-3 tbsp water and cooked it for much longer following other reviews. I added about 1/4th cup peanut butter towards the end. This mixture was very tasty but felt oily and I might try reducing the butter and increasing the water a bit more.

Wonderful recipe. I used milk and egg at room temperature. Serving suggestions: 1. Homemade chocolate syrup (cocoa powder, little heavy cream, milk, sugar, little cornstarch) + chopped fresh figs - YUM!! 2. Homemade chocolate syrup + sliced banana 3. Blueberry syrup as suggested by another reviewer (blueberries, sugar, cornstarch) + sliced strawberries 4. Homemade chocolate syrup + sliced strawberries 5. Or just maple syrup
