Buckeyes I

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2007
I used little more than half of the 6 cups of sugar, and although I am the biggest sweet toothe I know, they were plenty sweet enough. This is the quintesential chocolate peanut butter balls recipe. Quick easy and tasty!

Yummy Honey Chicken Kabobs

What is there not to love? I've made this recipe a handful of times, always to rave reviews. The combo of different colored peppers, onion, and honey glazed chicken makes these bobs look as good as they taste!

Everyone at the barbecue loved it. Thanks, Jay! I did think that it should have been spicier, but hey, majority rules!

Dave's Low Country Boil

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2007
Thank you Dave. The boil was a hit at my wife's birthday party. This is a great combo of ingredients that makes a hearty meal. I do suggest adding cajun seasoning (to taste) after it is served, it adds just the right amount of zest.

Maple Salmon

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2007
Very tasty. The first time I made this, I forgot to bake it and fried it in the marinate instead. The second time I baked as instructed. I actually like it fried better! The sugar in the syrup carmelized, adding an intriguing texture to the meat, as well as better preserving the flavor of the marinade. Baking is definitely a safer way to go though, and it came out perfectly moist and ready to serve!

Amazing Butternut Squash

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2007
The ingredients in this recipe delicously highlight the naturally fresh taste of the squash while adding more complexity to the taste pallet. An easy, can't miss recipe. I did substitute the crackers for breadcrumbs, but either way is great.

French Coconut Pie

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2007
I CAN'T BELIEVE I FORGOT TO ADD SUGAR! It was hiding in the first line of the directions. Anyway, we didn't let it go to waste and used an icing based on condensed milk. Very tasty, I can only imagine it w/sugar! thanks!

No Bake Chocolate Oat Bars

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2007
DELICIOUS! Easy to make and very tasty. I didn't have a nine by nine inch pan, but they came out nice and thick in the 9'' x 6''. I'm not the hugest fan of chocolate, so to make sure it didn't overpower the peanut butter, I halved the choco chips w/butterscotch chips. The center was nice and gooey. THANKS! can't wait to make them again.

French Apple Pie with Cream Cheese Topping

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2007
I took katiejaine007's advice and tried to double the amount of apples. I almost succeeded, and the result was a delicious desert that was between the consistency of a cake and pie. Only one person called it a carrot cake m/o apples, compared to all 6 thinking it was delish. Thanks for an tasty, easy recipe!

Dulce de Leche

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2007
Delicious...on EVERYTHING! If you are a sweet toothe that is. A simple recipe to follow, my only suggestion is to TURN UP THE HEAT! 45 minutes of stirring, on Med., with no results. 15 minutes on the precarious verge of boiling? Dulce de leche. Thanks for this tasty treat!

Dessert Crepes

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2007
Very quick and easy recipe. The sugar added just the right amount of sweetness to complement whatever filling you use. I filled them with dulce de leche (from another Allrecipe's recipe), and/or fresh blackberries/strawberries. They came out great! Thanks!
