Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2014
Add 1/2 tsp of vanilla. Cut salt to 1/2 tsp. Let milk come to rm temp. Let batter sit for 10 mins. Cook in cast iron skillet with butter. Yummy indeed. Better than a box.

Cucumber Tomato Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2011
Very good recipe. I used distilled white vinegar since that's all I had in the pantry and I used 3/4 cup of water. I will experiment with different vinegars in the future.

Easy Iced Coffee

Great recipe but I sweetened it to my taste. I did 3 tablespoons of sugar and a splash of caramel macchiatto creamer. SO GOOD!

I followed the suggestions of the other users when it came to the sauce. I served my meatballs over egg noodles. It turned out very tasty. I will make this one again.

Award Winning Peaches and Cream Pie

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2010
I like the dessert warm. I didn't like it cold at all. I followed the suggestions of the other users and doubled the recipe. I cooked the crust for 5 mins and then added the peaches. I used a 9x13 pan and baked for 30 mins. I don't think I'll be making this again. It just didn't tickle my taste buds.

Cream Cheese Pound Cake III

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2010
This is a good recipe but I did follow the suggestions of other users: 1. Use cake flour instead of regular flour 2. use 2 tsps of vanilla 3. add eggs one by one The only "problem" I had was the baking time. I put my oven on 325 but my cake was baking too fast. I dropped the temperature down to 300. That was better but it did take 1 hour and 45 mins to cook :( I used a dark heavy aluminum tube pan. Perhaps that had a lot to do with the cooking time. At any rate the recipe was great and I even had some for breakfast. shhh don't tell anyone :)

Cabbage Rolls II

A tad bit sweet. I won't use as much sugar next time. I doubled the sauce as I didn't want my rolls to be dry. It turned out great.

Glo's Sausage Fried Rice

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2010
Good recipe but make sure your rice is cold before you fry it. I generally cook the rice the day before and then fry it the next day. I also used frozen mixed veggies. It turned out great.
