Fresh Pear Pie

Boilermaker Tailgate Chili

Very good chili recipe that is not too overwhelming with heat. Has good flavor used chicken Italian sausage with ground top sirlion. Served over brown rice!

Chicken Enchiladas with Creamy Green Chile Sauce

I am only rating the sauce recipe and I can't say enough about how easy and good it is. I have used it several occasions on my own enchilada recipe. So quick and easy you will never buy store bought again! Thank you for this recipe!

Sangria! Sangria!

This is the 2nd time making this recipe and I made a double batch and used 1/2 c of spiced rum and 1/2 cup of Brandy. I also used Italian sparkling lemonade instead of club soda and added frozen pineapple to this batch and must say it turned out fantastic!

Chocolate Pear Spice Cake

This recipe sounded so simple so I had my doubts..... I took it to a birthday gathering and it was a huge hit, everyone asked for the recipe. I did not change a thing .... it turned out beautifule with the arrangement of pears on top ... looked like it came from a bakery. Thank you for this simple recipe.

Good way to use up my watermelon and I agree with the other no ice and freeze the watermelon. I also made the simple syrup and let the orange zest infuse overnight. I made with dark tequila still very good!

Broccoli Quiche with Mashed Potato Crust

I used my leftover mashed potatos added 2 T of flour with 1 egg and baked 30 minutes. Used 4 eggs and fried some bacon and used grease to sauté my onion and veggies and then cooked for only 20 minutes and presto turned out delicious !

Chef John's Classic Beef Stroganoff

This was by far the best and simplest stroganoff recipe I have ever made with amazing results! I followed the recipe exactly as stated and only added a sprinkle of worcestershire sauce to flavor the meat. I will be making this again soon!

Shredded Potato Quiche

I used 3 raw potatoes and shredded them added some shredded red onio sea salt/peper and 2 T of flour to potato mixture patted on bottom of pie plate and drizzled with olive oil and baked 20 minutes at 400. Then I put one can of artichoke hearts halved on the bottom and them 10 diced greek olives over chokes and then poured egg mixture over and placed sliced tomotoes on top with feta cheese. Divine! Bake another 20 minutes at 375. I did add some garlic powder to egg mixture and 1 t. itailan seasoning.

Watermelon and Strawberry Lemonade

Really nice way to use up some extra watermelon. I substituted 1/4 c of honey and added 1/2 c of frozen lemonade to the recipe and I will be making this again!

Chicken Massaman Curry

I took the advice of another and used fruit substitute instead of tamarind past and I loved it. I used 1/2 c diced dried apricotes 1/2 c of dried cranberries 1/2 c of pitted prunes (yep) and it turned out fantastic. I only used 1/2 c of peanut butter and added 1 T worcherster sauce & 1/4 c of raw cashews at the end to sauce. Turned out great!

Chicken Alfredo Pita Pizza

I made this with whole wheat pita bread no meat and added greek olives and 2 T diced red onion with all the other ingredients mentioned in the recipe and I was amazed how great it turned out! I am making this recipe again and again so versatile... a keeper!
