Corn Chowder with Beef

Over all I enjoyed this recipe. My 10yr old son and I made it for his 4th grade class we made a few changes, I added 1/2 lb of crisp bacon, I used shoe peg corn. I also added small diced carrots one time and you can also use sausage to make it a sausage corn chowder. I crisped the bacon first then sauteed the onions in the bacon grease.

Carrot Cake III

Absolutely wonderful. I made this for Easter 2008 and again for Easter 2009 and I have been asked to make it on other occasions as well. It is so moist and yummy. thanks for sharing such a wonderful recipe.

Perfect Turkey

this was a good recipe. I made it for Thanksgiving this year (08), but my Turkey was still dry and there wasn't much flavor. Next time I will do a few things different, like putting the butter and spices under the skin of the turkey before cooking. And if you have a large turkey like I did (26lbs). It is really hard to turn it over. I will have to rethink how to do that. Otherwise, everything was fine.

Slow Cooker Mashed Potatoes

These potatoes were the best ever. I couldn't believe how easy and delisious. I made these for Thanksgiving. I made them ahead of time since they need to sit in the cooker and I didn't have to worry about the potatoes taking up room on the stove and keeping them hot. This is a great way to do it. I will never do it any other way again.

Awesome Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting

I made this for Easter & it was great. It was moist and the cream cheese was just yummy. My whole family enjoyed it and they couldn't believe I made it from scratch. It was REALLY easy too. Thanks for posting it!!
