About this Cook
My cooking triumphs
I am notorious for having nothing in my house. I got hungry one night (around midnight which is early for me) and started fishing around in the fridge for odds and ends left over from other meals. I threw together a stirfry using ground turkey, pea pods, celery, cabbage, onions, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and garlic and served it over Sushi rice (my favorite snack. It's always around.) It was fabulous...then my dad stopped by and it was gone. lol
My cooking tragedies
I was about fifteen or so and I was making a cake for my friends and I. They stopped by early and decided to go to the movies so I had to hurry up with the cake..... I grabbed cayenne pepper and put that in instead of cinnamon like I was supposed to. I didn't notice until much later. Chocolate cake is NOT supposed to be spicy.

Spinach and Potato Frittata
I loved this recipe. It even made my father happy and he's one of those who have to have meat with every meal. I have made it several times and decided that I should take the time to review it. Absolutely great. :)

Double Chocolate Brownie Cake
This was fantastic! I had to make it 9X13 because I took this into work for easter. I also used half the chocolate chips (personal preference). I topped it with chocolate icing. My coworkers are very picky eaters and this was gone in less than seven minutes. I already have several requests to make this again!

Pauline Werner's Beef Stew
This was yummy! ^_^ My room mate and I loved it. If you switch beef broth for the tomato and thicken it, it's really good too.
