Buffalo Chicken Dip

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2011
This is a heart attack on a chip. Delicious, but only for those who have a lot of self-control!! I used 1/2 ranch and 1/2 blue cheese dressing.

Golden Yam Brownies

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2010
Yup, these are a good idea! I call them Goldies, and they don't stay around for very long. A nice change of dessert pace too. I followed the recipe exactly, and shredding the yams in the food processor (with shredder attachment) makes them a breeze to make.

Rosemary Roasted Turkey

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2010
This was my first turkey and it turned out great! Good flavor and it was quite pretty. I followed the recipe exactly, and let it brown plenty at the end.

Spicy Sweet Potato Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2009
This soup surprised me! I wasn't expecting it to be that great, and it turned out amazing! My 3 toddlers scarfed it down too! I played with the spices until it was the way I liked it, just a little spicier. Will definitely be making again!

Slow Cooker Texas Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2009
Pretty tastey for slow-cooker style, but I think I just prefer barbecue style pulled pork. I will make this recipe every time I make it inside the house though!

Creamy Rice Pudding

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2008
This is very good, just as long as you don't scramble your eggs in it! Bring the egg/milk mixture to temperature before slowly adding to pudding. Very creamy and delicious!!

Baked Potato Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2008
This was very flavorful and easy to make! I followed recipe exactly, only adding some fresh corn, which I highly recommend! This will definitely become my "official" potato soup recipe.

Quiche Supreme

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2007
This quiche was very good. I omitted the mushrooms, because I don't care for them, but felt it needed something in their place. Great recipe though, and I will be making it again!

Lemon Cream Pasta with Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2007
The lemon sauce is to die for!! I may consider adding a veggie of some sort next time (possibly asparagus)...great just the way it is though.

Extreme Banana Nut Bread 'EBNB'

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2007
I followed the advice to add 1t. vanilla, 1t. cinnamon, half brown sugar, half white, and 1/2t. baking powder. The flavor is amazing, however, my loaves flopped in the middle. I may need to tweek the baking powder/soda amounts and try again!

Scones

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2007
This is a great basic recipe for scones! I added 1/2 cup chopped, dried apricots, and they turned out perfect! Not too dry, and the perfect level of sweetness!
