E-Z Drop Biscuits

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2009
Super Easy to make! It took less time to make these than to buy them in the tube from the store, open it, separate them and put them on a cookie sheet. And it's certainly cheaper. My only complaint, hence the 4 stars, is that they are not the most flavorful or as dense as some. But in a jiffy they're perfect!

So cheap and easy to make. I love this recipe! I can't justify buying this sauce in the stores anymore.

We have a tradition of making doughnuts every Halloween season and this is the 2nd year I've made these doughnuts! The frosting is tasty! Great recipe!

Spudnuts

I agree with the other cooks. This recipe is poorly written. The equation of dry vs wet ingredients is not equal. I too had to double the amount of flour so that it was on longer potato mush!! It never would have risen! It was still sticky, as directed in the recipe. We'll see if they work out.

Strawberry Twinkie Dessert

I think this recipe has too much of the fake sugary taste. It's a bit overloaded w/sweetness. Yes, it's quick and easy but, in my opinion, there are yummier trifle like recipes out there.

Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2007
I enjoyed this recipe! It is moist, delicious, and easy to make but it needed a little boost. I, too, made some changes to this recipe. I added 1 tsp vanilla, 1/4 tsp ground cloves, 1 tsp ground ginger and changed the 1 Tbsp nutmeg to 1 tsp. I also used 2 cups white sugar and 1 cup brown instead of 3 white. I added 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips, per other review suggestions, but I think it is too much and takes away from the pumpkin flavor. I may also add a simple cream cheese frosting on top for extra flavor and texture. I did not add the walnuts. The recipe yielded four mini loaves and one 9"x5" loaf. But could possibly yield 3 9"x5" loaves as well.
