Apple Muffins

I loved these muffins! They were all eaten in record time too, so I suppose everyone else felt the same. I doubled the amount of apples and cinnamon and thought the muffins came out perfectly that way. Thank so much for the great recipe! I will be making these often.

Grapefruit Bars

These cake bars are very good. I used the zest of a whole grapefruit, but the grapefruit flavor was still very subtle. To add a bit more, I took the suggestion of another reviewer and made an icing for the cake out of additional grapefruit juice and powdered sugar. Thanks for the recipe.

Absolutely the BEST Rich and Creamy Blue Cheese Dressing Ever!

Pina Colada Onion Rings

I can't believe no one has rated these yet. These are really good onion rings if you like slightly sweet batters. I was worried the batter wouldn't stick, so I made sure to coat them really well with flour before dipping in the batter. This made it stay on the onion rings really well during frying. I found I only had to bake them in the oven for a few minutes on each side, otherwise they would start to get a bit burnt. My family loved them and they disappeared very quickly. I think this batter may go well with other things too. I am going to use the leftover batter on some shrimp. Thanks for a great recipe.

Shrimp with Tomatoes and Feta Cheese

Honey Glazed Ham

This is by far the best ham I have ever had. I basted it often and generously. When in the oven, I kept it loosely covered with aluminum foil to keep the ham from drying out and the glaze from burning. For the last 5 minutes of cooking, I removed the foil and turned the broiler on to caramelize the glaze a bit. It turned out wonderful. Thanks!

Zesty Porcupine Meatballs

These meatballs came out pretty good. I used only half of the Worcestershire sauce on the basis of the other reviews, but I think next time I will add the full 1/4 cup since I like my food very spicy and flavorful. I used brown rice rather than white rice and doubled the amount. Adding 1/4 cup of Italian bread crumbs kept the meatballs together nicely. Thanks!

Spinach and Tortellini Salad

I have made this salad several times now, and it seems that the results really depend on the type of Italian dressing used. When I use my favorite good-quality dressing, this salad is absolutely fantastic! Thanks for the wonderful recipe!

Mashed Potato Casserole

I've made this several times now, and it never lasts long. Rather than 8 oz. of onion dip, I just use a 1.5 oz. packet of dry onion chip dip mix. This is a delicious side dish, thanks for the recipe!

Garlic Broccoli Spears

I was looking for a quick way to jazz up steamed broccoli and this worked perfectly! I followed the recipe as is and it was gobbled up in no time. Some other reviewers thought the amount of lemon juice to be too much, but if you want a bit of a lemon tang, I think that the amount listed in the recipe is perfect. Thanks for a great recipe!

Delicious! I made a few minor changes to this recipe. I used only 1/2 teaspoon of salt, which was plenty, and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice rather than the lime juice. My family doesn't like anything spicy, so I left out the jalapenos. My father pronounced this the best guacamole he has ever had and bought a huge batch of avocados so I could make more of this. Thanks!

Italian Restaurant-Style Dressing

This recipe makes a great dressing. I blend the lemon juice and vinegar alone for about 20 seconds, and then let that rest for 10 minutes before adding the rest of the ingredients. I also like to use plain old distilled white vinegar rather than white wine vinegar because I think it tastes more like the dressing at that famous Italian restaurant.
