Buttermilk Pancakes II

Just made these for breakfast and they were a hit. Perfect....light and fluffy and tasty with just a little addition of vanilla. :) Thanks!!

This was my first attempt at a blueberry pie since I needed to use up my blueberries before they went bad. Let me just say YUMMY!! This is a hit and I will definitely make again!! I didn't change a thing and made recipe as is. :)

Banana Sour Cream Bread

YUM!! I just let the bread cool a little bit and had a taste! YUM!! This bread is perfect. Love the coating of cinn/sugar. I didn't change a thing and I have to say this is one of the best banana breads I've had. Thanks for sharing the recipe.

Parmesan Chicken

Amish White Bread

This was my first try at homemade bread. Wow, it was so easy and turned out wonderful. My family loved the bread and I will definitely make again. I will have to try the cinnamon next time. Can't wait.

Ham Salad II

I'm very happy with the way it turned out. I didn't have green pepper so omitted that and the salt. I just threw onion and celery in with ham and blended it all together. Used just enough mayo to coat it. I must say I wasn't crazy about it with the relish (glad I didn't use much) I also added about 2 tbsp or so of mustard and then it was perfect!!

Awesome and Easy Creamy Corn Casserole

Easy Toffee

I lost my friend's recipe and was happy to stumble upon this one since it's pretty much the same but my one complaint is that when I made it, the toffee burnt b/c 15 min in the oven is way to long. I find 5-7 min perfect. Other than that this stuff is fantastic and yummy!!!!

Ribboned Fudge Cake

The cake was very easy to do but I will probably not make again. My reason is b/c I really prefer cakes from scratch and not box mix and had hoped b/c this had the cream cheese mixture it would give it that extra flavor. The taste was not bad and the kids did gobble it all up....I guess for me it's just personal preferance.

Cinnamon Hazelnut Biscotti

I just finished making these and they came out perfect. They are crispy and not too crumbly. They taste great too. I didn't use hazelnuts but used chopped pecans instead. I'd love to macadamia ones next.

Buttermilk Pancakes I

Even though the buttermilk II got better ratings I tried this one b/c I didn't have enough ingredients for the other one. I thought these were really good. Kids gobbled them up. I did add a splash of Almond extract. I usually do this to all pancakes and french toast b/c it adds a little bit extra.

Butter Pecan Bars

I made these for a cookout so I decided to go ahead and double the batch and cooked in a 9 1/2 by 13 1/2 pan and cooked for 50 minutes and it could have cooked for another 5-7 minutes to be perfect. I even accidentally put in a cup of walnuts and a cup of pecans (oops, I thought the bag I opened was pecans)and everyone still loved them not even noticing the difference. Will definately make again.

Breaded Chicken Fingers

Best Brownies

The title says it all. I usually only make box mix brownies but have always wanted a recipe from scratch. I have now found my recipe. Everyone loved it even thought I didn't use the frosting.

Buttery Cinnamon Cake

This cake was very moist and tasty. I took the advice from someone else and added butter and cinnamon sugar to the pan and I agree this was nice and crispy.

Broccoli Bites

I made this for a birthday party and it was a hit. My father couldn't stop eating them. I really enjoyed them dipped in sour cream. One comment from everyone is they needed more salt.
