Lentil Soup
Very good. Following other reviewer's tips, I used balsamic vinegar instead of regular and I didn't have port but I put in about 1/4 C red wine. I also used chicken broth instead of just water--I would think it would be bland without the broth. We added tabasco to our own for a little heat, sopped it up with bread and it was fantastic!

Chicken And Apple Curry
This was really yummy--though I tweaked it some. I added carrots and green pepper just to up the veggie intake, added a few cloves of garlic and also 2 Tb of mango ginger chutney. It was REALLY yummy. It still seemed really runny and I didn't want to overcook, so I added a couple TB of flour to thicken the sauce. Yummy though.

Barbecued Beef
This was REALLY good. I didn't have liquid smoke so figure it would be even better with that. I also added about 1/2 C minced onions and 3 garlic cloves instead of powder. Will be making this again!
